They've been promoting the hell out of this movie.

Something tells me this is going to be just as disappointing as Hangover 2 was when it came out.

I sure hope not because I liked the first one a lot. But most of these appearances Ferrell has done as his "Burgundy" character on ESPN, random local news casts, interviews etc, have been really weird and awkward. It pretty much looks like Ferrell was trying too hard to make it funny. A lot of overkill IMO.

Thats almost unheard of for a comedy for those snobs. Imdb ratings arent as kind tho which is odd

Reading some reviews the last few minutes from the sites I usually trust, all positive.

It's all over the place with a coherent plot, but it's funny as ****.

People either "get" this oddball sense of humor or they don't. I know a few people who hated the first one.

I'm just not a fan of Ferrell at all...

Eventually someone gets so popular people start to dislike them from over exposure and the need for many to be a contrarian and different. No denying Will Ferrell is funny

I think when Will Ferrell isn't the star of the movie, when he shares it with someone else he's at his best. Old School, Step Brothers I think were his two best movies. I liked Anchorman and I"ll see this one and probably laugh through 70% of it or so.
