Ive seen New Order a couple times - about the only non-DJ that I would care to see on that list (maybe xx too).

Last year they had multiple youtube channels streaming super high quality live.....I'll stick to that again....much cheaper!

(yeah, I'm old!) :)

It's not a good lineup at all this year but I've got to see Radiohead again. And Kendrik is pretty solid. Not the usual "****ing my ho while I count my money" rap. I watch the live streams during weekend one, then attend weekend two.

After 10 years of attendance, I'm outgrowing it I think.

Checkout Bottlerock in Napa. Nice lineup this year, just got my tix

I'd see the first day than go home.

Lots of lip-synchers and rappers screaming "get yo hands up" looks like.

Pass.

I know 4 performers on Sunday's show. That's the most of any day. I guess I'm old now.

I'm probably around 10 years of attendance. I'm not as excited about it as I used to be, but I still enjoy it.

I used to see a lot of live music in SF, but I rarely do that anymore. I still enjoy hitting a few festivals a year. Alternate between pushing up toward the stage and kicking back on the grass (if it isn't too hot).

I don't care for the rap (and the big dude on stage with a backward baseball cap telling me to "get your hands up" and "f****** make some noise"). But there are usually enough DJ/EDM groups there that I still like.

I've also checked out a bunch of groups that I would never go see at a stand alone show. For instance, Beyoncé might be fun to check out.

The biggest annoyance is driving down I-5 and through LA.

With the live streaming, being able to check out the acts online and then going weekend two is the way to go. Although the place would be a little less dusty the first weekend.

The way I find new music: I buy a ticket to a festival and then check out every act on YouTube to find out which ones I want to see live.

I'm too old for massive outdoor music festivals. I'm pretty much a fair weather everything. I hope you guys have fun though.

Demonpenz 01-04-2017 05:40 PM

This one will be the first one I skip.

You seem like a guy who spends a lot of time in the Do Lab (the stage with all the water spraying on people in the video).

/I know you are full of it. :)

Toots and the Maytals is the only reggae band on the list, and they're old. Fail!!
