1. Kansas City: Geno Smith, QB; WVU
- The Chiefs QB situation is the worst in the league. Smith has all the tools, experience and ceiling to be a legitimate #1 pick, especially if you are the Chiefs.

2. Jacksonville: Bjoern Werner, DE; FSU
- Werner has been a destroyer of worlds this season for the Seminoles, and considering that the German native has only been playing organized football for just a handful of years, the sky is the limit. Jaguars see a JJ Watt type player here.

3. Oakland: Jarvis Jones, DE/OLB; Georgia
- Oakland is tied with the Jaguars for the lowest sack total in the NFL. Jones, a USC transfer, has a superb first step and has the size and athleticism to play rush end in either a 34 or 43.

4. Cleveland: Barkevious Mingo, DE; LSU
- The Browns young defense is starting to pick up steam, but needs a true stud at rush end. Mingo is an athletic freak with size that plays hard through the whistle. He's the guy you notice on that Tigers defense this year.

5. Philadelphia: Matt Barkley, QB; USC
- Mike Vick doesn't give a shit and has said as much. He's a coach killer (latest victim will be Andy Reid) and I'll be shocked if he's there next season. Foles is a fourth rounder from last year. Barkley would be a big name for a new coach and get the fan base energized - in a good way.

6. Carolina: Starlite Lotulelei, DT; Utah
- Star has the talent to go first overall and the Panthers would be estatic to see him sitting here at number six. Immensely strong and fast, he routinely beats double teams and sees triple teams often in an effort to neutralize him.

7. Buffalo: Tyler Wilson, QB; Arkansas
- Fitzpatrick was given a Cassel level contract and has performed almost as poorly. They've invested heavily on the defensive side of the ball and have weapons on the offensive side. Like the Chiefs, the Bills need a high quality signal caller.

8. San Diego: Luke Joeckel, OT; Texas A&M
- If Phil Rivers has any say, this will easily be the pick. If Joeckel is sitting here for the Chargers, it's a no brainer.

9. New York Jets: Demontre Moore, OLB/DE; Texas A&M
- This team is a mess. The QB controversy has even claimed Fireman Ed as it's latest victim. I fully expect that the Jets will make a move for a experienced signal caller (Alex Smith perhaps) and take the best pass rusher on the board. That is Moore, who's a long, athletic end.

10. Tennessee: John Hankins, DT; Ohio State
- Hankins is a terror and has played all over the line for the Buckeyes this season. He's a big reason they've gone undefeated and he will be able to play any inside position in any scheme at the next level.

11. Arizona: Tyler Bray, QB; Tennessee
- The one team who could challenge Kansas City for worst QB situation in the NFL. Bray gives you a cannon for an arm and huge upside. If you think this is early for him, go look at the last two drafts. QB's are going a lot earlier than they used to and a guy with Bray's upside will be hard to pass up for a team with a QB situation like the Cards.

12. Detroit: Dee Milliner, CB; Alabama
- The Lions should probably pick one of the top level o-linemen left on the board as protecting Stafford should be the ultimate priority, but their pass defense is absolutely atrocious. Milliner is a potential top five talent and would be a steal here.

13. St. Louis: Jake Matthews, OT; Texas A&M
- Despite spending high round picks on the offensive line, it's still a mess and couldn't block four girl scouts rushing the QB. This Matthews goes back to the roots and plays a solid brand of right tackle like his dad Bruce. Probably has his father's versatility to play most line positions at the next level.

14. Miami: Keenan Allen, WR; California
- The Dolphins would like to get a little more talent around Tannehill. Allen has a chance to be a very solid pro wideout.

15. St. Louis: Tavon Austin, WR; WVU
- Dynamic force for the Mountaineers. Can line up all over the field and break it off anywhere for huge gains.

16. New Orleans: Sheldon Richardson, DT; Missouri
- Richardson has had a great season and New Orleans could really use an impact interior defensive lineman.

17. Dallas: Manti Te'o, LB; Notre Dame
- Need meets right player for the Cowboys. Many think Te'o is going earlier than this but he's a 34 Mike backer at the next level, which the Cowboys need, and no team before the Cowboys does.

18. Cincinnati: C.J. Mosley, LB; Alabama
- Has the size and athleticism to excel at any of the linebacker spots in a 43, something that the Bengals truly need.

19. Tampa Bay: Johnthan Banks, CB; Mississippi State
- Banks is a smooth, instinctive corner with superb size.

20. Minnesota: Terrance Williams, WR; Baylor
- A big, reliable target with the ability to get downfield and separate. Would be an ideal receiver opposite of Harvin.

21. Pittsburgh: Eric Reid, S; LSU
- Polamalu is, at this point in his career, a roster liability due to injuries. Steelers need to make sure that they have an adequate backup and future stater sooner rather than later at the position.

22. Seattle: Robert Woods, WR; USC
- Pete Carroll loves him some wide receivers and if Braylon Edwards is an option for your team, then you know you need an upgrade.

23. Indianapolis: Sam Montgomery, DE; LSU
- While Mathis has had a decent season, Freeney's tank seems to be nearing empty. Montgomery is the best player on the board.

24. New York Giants: Jon Cooper, OG; North Carolina
- Kevin Boothe has been a perrenial backup, while Cooper has elite quickness for the position.

25. Green Bay: Barrett Jones, OL; Alabama
- Jones has excelled at three different positions on the offensive line and the Packers could use such versatility, especially on the interior.

26. Denver: Xavier Rhodes, CB; Florida State
- Rhodes is one of the most talented defensive backs in college football. Huge (6'1", 217 lb.) with speed, he's got great natural instincts. Would most likely move over to safety at the next level, but can play all four defensive back positions. Denver is going to need upgrading at either safety or CB.

27. Chicago: Tyler Eifert, TE; Notre Dame
- Cutler would love a reliable safety valve and Eifert has great size and athleticism. There has been a void at the position since Olsen left.

28. New England: Justin Hunter, WR; Tennessee
- A legitimate #2 receiver is needed and Hunter is a terrific propect.

29. San Francisco: DeAndre Hopkins, WR; Clemson
- When a team needs to sign and subsequently start Randy Moss at this point in his career, you know that the position needs to be addressed.

30. Baltimore: Alec Ogletree, ILB; Georgia
- Ray Lewis might be done, and if he's not, he's still at the end of his playing days. Ogletree is a very talented propect for the position.

31. Atlanta: T.J. McDonald, S; USC
- Not a lot of holes, but safety depth and quality could be addressed.

32. Houston: Taylor Lewan, OT; Michigan
- Neither Butler nor Newton are world beaters at RT. Lewan is athletic and plays nasty. Would fit nicely at RT in the zone system the Texans use.

I hope McDonald falls another two spots because I'd love him in KC.

Pretty sure the Chiefs need to draft a linebacker now

Needed to draft one before yesterday.

So in that scenario, let's say you're the Saints and the Chiefs call offering you their 2nd rounder plus next year's second to move up to their spot ahead of Dallas.

You're dying for draft picks - you take it right? If they demand the Chiefs 3rd, do you pull the trigger in KC?

If Te'o starts to fall out of the top 10, trade-up scenarios become legitimate and pretty damn interesting for KC. That high 2nd rounder will be golden given the lowered contract requirements and opportunity to re-set your draft board.

Idk about that, his stock has taken a major hit from multiple reports I've read. I haven't paid attention to him while watching SC so just going by what I've read.

I think that Shane Skov, ILB; Stanford, is an absolutely beast of a player and will most likely be there at the top of the third when the Chiefs draft. I don't think that there is much difference between him and Te'o at all. No reason to waste a second when you can get the same guy in the third.

Would remind me of Pioli moving up into the end of the third to grab Moeaki when Pitta and Hernandez and Moeaki were sitting there in-between those eight spots that they moved up. One of the dumber draft day decisions I've recently seen by the Chiefs.

While I agree with Sac on Skov, we absolutely need a stone cold leader on the defense.

With Poe potentially coming on, Dj, Flowers, Hali, Houston, Berry, Arenas etc being cornerstones, they aren't really the outgoing leader.

Thats what we need on D.

Maybe Skov is that, but if Teo is that guy, I wouldn't be upset at all.

I think the leader we need may be Bacarri Rambo. Safety we should draft in the third round and a Captain of that Georgia D.

Leader? I dunno, Rambo's had some effort issues and obviously the ganga problem.

That said, I'd take him without hesitation in the 3rd.

I think he'll probably go in the 2nd but I haven't watched or even broken down any kind of film on the safeties this year. I did see him make a few plays against GA but that's all I have to go on.

I wouldn't mind having him on this team.

West Virginia's Geno Smith is the top quarterback prospect on the majority of draft boards across the league, but that doesn't mean everyone is convinced he's a legitimate top-10 pick. An NFC South personnel executive recently cited Smith's hesitancy against the different looks thrown at him after midseason as a potential red flag. While Smith has maintained an impressive completion percentage (70.1) and a gaudy touchdown-to-interception ratio (35:5), the scout said Smith won't pull the trigger on "tight-window" throws at times for fear of tossing an interception. Unfortunately, those are exactly the types of throws Smith would need to make at the next level to be a great player. In addition, the scout didn't seem convinced that Smith possessed the requisite physical tools to merit consideration as a franchise-type player. While he acknowledged that a team in desperate need of a quarterback would likely view Smith in a different light, he said that the West Virginia star is not in the same class as prior QB prospects Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Cam Newton.
