I hear his kids are already awesome at basketball.. It will be interesting to see how they end up physically because they should no doubt be GREAT at shooting it. Iowa State could have a three guard lineup of Hoibergs!

Because he was one of the worst shooters Self has ever had statistically, that would be why. He needs to be much better in that area next year.

Self believed in trusting the veteran and going with the guy that got them there, for good or bad. I can't disagree with his trust in him at all after all that they/he did over the last two years (particularly during the tourney run last year). It just didn't work out this time. It happens.

He looked like a more confident, aggressive and polished McLemore. Just so well-rounded. Due to the amount of talented OADs after next year I bet he stays for two years, depending on how he performs of course. He may play so well that it'd be impossible for him to stay.

Jalen Rose picked him to have the biggest impact next year and most impressive last night.
