If given the choice..

.. which team would you rather support if either were established in Kansas City?

Pole cumming.

Simply Red 07-27-2018 04:06 PM

are you gay?

Simply Red 07-27-2018 04:07 PM

Good question actually - that's fairly tough to answer for that town, I'd say.

If I still lived there - Most likely actually attending games would be the NHL

Gay for the pussy.

Both are fun to watch. It would be nice to have a rivalry with that city across the state. I lean towards bball as I do like it more

Undoubtedly an NHL team. I didn’t get into hockey until I moved out of KC. Now that I’m back it would be awesome to have a hometown team to root for. Couldn’t give two shits about the NBA.

New World Order 07-27-2018 04:49 PM

Neither

Kiimo 07-27-2018 04:55 PM

NBA all the way. It isn't close. The NBA is the only rival in popularity that the NFL has. There's no reason that KC doesn't have a team and I think they will soon.

And when they do all you people who say "I don't like the NBA" will start to get into it and realize the NBA is 12 months of entertainment. It never stops being hilariously amazing and the trades are crazy and the games are fun and they'll sign local guys. Forget the Kings in 82, this is a different game with social media.

I think I'd prefer an NBA team. Hockey just isn't that enjoyable to watch, IMO.

I will say the atmosphere for playoff hockey is quite exciting though.

NBA would be the bigger draw. IMO.

Been to a few Coyotes games. Can't get into it. And you can go practically free some times.

Prison Bitch 07-27-2018 05:15 PM

NBA is awful

I'd rather watch badminton.

Yeah, there is zero doubt in my mind that the NBA would be a bigger draw, but the question was which one I’d prefer. I get that I’m in the minority, but the NBA and its paid for championships just doesn’t interest me.

Randallflagg 07-27-2018 05:42 PM

Honestly, I would have to say neither. Can't stand the NBA and don't really care for hockey.

Rain Man 07-27-2018 05:54 PM

Neither of those is a football team. I'll pass.

EPodolak 07-27-2018 06:37 PM

I sort of have a local NBA team, don't follow the game much though.

Have always wanted a hometown connection to an NHL team.
