Hang in there, brother.

Really though, get well soon.

I have a bad feeling that I'll have something like shingles later in life. I have a shitty epidermis. I'm pale as hell, prone to impetigo, and have had pityriasis rosea twice.

Chemo even increases the chances of shingles. I found that out as a "Happy Remission Gift". FFS :shake:

Oh, and this is NOTHING compared to the gamma globulin shots the Navy used to love to pump into us. Those ****ers! LMAO

I’ve got some minor scarring that reminds me of how much fun it was

The shingles or the navy?

suzzer99 11-22-2019 04:17 PM

Finished my second shingles vaccination a month ago. Nope, don't want em.

Chiefs4TheWin 11-22-2019 05:02 PM

I heard if you had chicken pox you're already in line for shingles. Which scares me, because when I was 5 I had the worst case of chicken pox that I've heard of. I missed like 2/3rd Kindergarten, and even had them in my throat. I'm scarred all over me to this day from them.

My Shingles will be legendary.

Got the 2nd shot yesterday and, wow, it did its thing! I was teaching a class up at ye 'ol Scuba shoppe, everything was going along just fine just after class ended the headache hit and (oddly) the worst case of post nasal drip I've ever had. I was a bit of a rough night...

rabblerouser 01-15-2020 10:02 AM

I've had them, I think I was 34 or 35. Worst pain ever. Worse than broken ribs.
