I was more or less shocked there were people who existed who didn't think Blake Griffin wasn't going to be a total animal at the next level
|
I just find it funny that people really have the energy to be mad at 3-7 round picks. These are player who will likely be out the league in a few years. I understand getting worked up over a 1st round pick and some 2nd round picks but, after the 3rd, why are you angry over drafting Michael Michaelson from Longview community college in the 4th round?

the San Antonio Spurs would not trade Tim Duncan for Blake Griffin 1) He's a franchise icon. 2) The Spurs are looking to be known as one of the best dynasties ever. Trading an icon when he's still playing at an incredibly efficient level makes no sense. They are all in on Tim Duncan. Now. If you're trying to say Blake Griffin isn't more valuable than a 38 year old Tim Duncan ... well ... ha. Blake is probably one of the top 10 most valuable commodities in the NBA |
...and Tim Duncan is incredible. He continues to play at an insanely efficient level and he's 38 years old with a billion miles on him.
I'd take Tim Duncan and the Tim Duncan career and the Tim Duncan on a roster over Kobe Bryant and it's not even close. I'd take Tim Duncan 1,000,000 out of 1,000,000. All-time great, and an all-time great TEAM player. |

That said no way do I agree with you... |
Tim Duncan at least has the ability to say, "yeah, I was the best player on an NBA Champion team."
Can Kobe? (No.) |
Less basketball talk in a thread prefixed as [NFL Draft], please.
