Good for you, buddy. I don't take Chiefs football nearly as serious anymore, either. This past year was the first year I can remember that I didn't "live or die" with wins and losses. Hell, the only thing I got mad about all year was that bullshit DPI against Ron Parker in the 1st Oakland game that basically cost us the playoffs.

I've been a staunch defender of Mecca's in the past, and I will continue to be one. He's never been the guy who shits all over anyone who disagrees with him.

There's something odd about CP in that people like the guy who says "**** you, your opinions are reeruned", but they hat the guys who confidently state their own opinions and stick with them. Of course, that mentality is what makes hootie threads 'appointment reading'.

yeah Mecca never followed the 'Dane/Hamas' approach, at all....

but he was the non-trolling version of what Clay has become

Mecca was like a less douchey BossChief; he truly thought he was an NFL caliber GM

He wasn't in anyone's faces about it, though. For some reason, this place thinks that all opinions need to be prefaced with "now this is only my opinion and it's probably wrong and I'm sorry for being born if it is and goatees with bald heads and beer guts are awesome but I think..."
