I'd rather have all of those RBs that were just drafted in the 5th round (including Barner) over Taylor

:spock: Okay Direckshun, we'll see when he goes and what he does. #Flacco

I saw two Stanford games, admittedly. The USC game and the Rose Bowl.

Taylor has moves and vision, but his speed is just barely adequate, and he's not explosive enough. At least from what I saw out of him.

The dude does pass block like a mofo, though. I'm not saying put him in at FB, but when you run two back sets, that's an incredible skill to see in a rookie from day one.

I would have taken him with the Chiefs pick coming up at the top of the 6th round if I didn't already have Le'Veon Bell, who is demonstrably better than Taylor in every way.

Bell does impress the **** out of me. He may be Superman dressed up like Clark Kent.

I like Taylor but unless there was a massive run on RBs, I can't imagine why I'd take him before the 4th.

I think 4th/5th is reasonable.

Definitely has some tools though.

Right up until Nightfyre took Williams, I was going to go straight SEC for Houston; I was really starting to get annoyed but there was no way around it.

That league really is just better than everyone else.

billay pm to make a pick to keep this thing going.

Baltimore Ravens select Josh Evans, S, Florida

The Franchise 04-01-2013 10:12 AM

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Robert Lester, SS, Alabama.

Sorter 04-01-2013 10:17 AM

**** you both.

Argh!

Nightfyre 04-01-2013 10:22 AM

I am really glad I grabbed Shawn Williams when I did, now.
