They gave other teams the "I don't want to sell it price."

Yeah, it was a thankless job. Even when he had resources approved, though (Jeff Austin), the money was not well spent.

Glad Moore at least convinced Glass to open up the pocketbook a bit.

I can't speak for any other team's Opening Day, but Opening Day at the K is nothing but a drunk fest, and I like to drink AND listen to death metal. I won't go to another one until the culture changes. It's like Rockfest out there. Once Opening Day at the K becomes about quality baseball and not about day drinking, I'll think about coming back.
