Hugos at Four Queens is the best steak deal in town and it has that old school Vegas feel...plus downtown in general is old school and much cheaper than the Strip. I agree with Peppermill as well..a Vegas must.

Dare you to go to Double Down and drink their ass juice...The most infamous bar in vegas. they use to show midget porn on the TVs until the gaming board came along and ruined the fun...:shake:

There's a cafe in Binnion's that serves giant chili dogs, chinese food, and shrimp cocktails. They're always open, and my drunk ass always winds up there. Hard to beat the price and it's pretty good food.

Plus, where else can you get a chili dog, egg roll, and shrimp cocktail all in one place?

The cafe at Harrah's in Kansas City is close to the variety, but is about 6 times the price.

STRIPSTEAK and Border Grill at Mandalay are both very, very good.

Dos Caminos and Table 10 (Emeril Lagasse's place) at The Palazzo are fine choices, as is N9NE steak house at The Palm.

The possibilities are endless.

We just got a Steak & Shake. My friends from South Bend say it's real good. Don't know if that helps.

I'll second the Border Grill. That place was outstanding. (when I was there about 7 years ago)

BUMP

it's time for another vegas trip for this guy!!!
you all know the drill. if you're new to this thread, i'll keep it short. tell me your faves in vegas. primarily on the strip/old town. it's pretty well known that i like to eat. and drink. and eat. REP goes out to all of my freinemies!!!!

Sorter 02-26-2013 08:41 PM

Went there for athletics.

Didn't get to do anything fun. Didn't eat anywhere fun. Was also sick.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, avoid the Expo Center there unless something cool is going on.

Sweet ****ing thread!

I plan on going in September.

Where you staying, cable?

Happy Egg. Off the strip. Great breakfast though. You need service? You just turn the "egg" on your table to the "sad egg" and a waiter comes right over.

Demonpenz 02-26-2013 08:42 PM

free shots at the bar on the hour every hour.

The buffet at The Wynn is really pretty good.

looks like we're staying at the flamingo. i do love margaritaville, although the one in key west was probably the most "authentic".

we have no choice in where we stay, pretty happy since we'll be pretty much right in the middle of everything. last year was circus circus, kinda felt like i was being punished :)
