So my rookie Marvin Austin tore his pec and is lost for the season, reportedly. What are my options on putting him on IR and getting somebody thats not hurt on to my 53 man instead?

I'm not quite sure how we'll handle injuries at this point. Dunno if cdcox has that in his head yet. I figure we'll either have a waiver system (and maybe IR), or we'll just have 53 players and if your guys go down you get generic "scrubs" in their place. The latter would be good because it would give us a better free agent draft in the offseason.

We'll have an option for that once you have to go down to 53. You will be able to waive players or put them on IR for a future year.

I just fixed the software to execute this trade correctly, but if you've already approved it, I'll need to edit the database to put it into effect.
