For my 10k post..

Juts a tease about VB5.. I am messing with the BETA now and when it's out of testing we will start the long drawn out upgrade process. I know I said we would upgrade to VB4 last year but I got wind of VB5 and the massive changes and decided to hold off. Best guess is that it will still be at least a month away before we really even start so nothing should interfere with the board during the season.

Who really gives a crap about the season, beyond the draft implications?

What happens after the conclusion of the season will be far more interesting.

Damn, that's a good point... unfortunately I'm at the mercy of the developers.. it's still in beta now but when it's ready I'll post back here and get a consensus for how we roll it out. Hopefully we won't see more than a few hours downtime when the db gets taken offline and converted.

Yep, the plan is to have a demo board up for awhile and let people get used to it... but I fully expect bitching regardless. :D

No that is VB4... this is a big step up which is why I decided to wait and skip over 4.

Pics will be even better with expanded galleries and the ability to upload and manage videos as well. Supposedly that is one area that is a big upgrade.

I expect nothing less.
