Good catch. It is a balk and sometimes (rarely) umpires do call it on him. Most of the time they do not, though.

Can't remember his name or even his team... But there's some pitcher in the league that basically jumps a good foot off the rubber as he delivers the ball. How is that not a balk every time there's a runner aboard?

There are a few pitchers you could argue in baseball who balk every single time, which is probably why they're able to get away with it.

There's a decent argument you can make that Witt Jr is the best player in the AL
