Good luck, sir!

I hate to see him go but business is business.

Good luck to him and nothing but good thoughts for the man.

Megatron96 03-11-2024 09:27 PM

Congrats on the payday, Allegretti. Came up big as anyone in the biggest game. Go make us proud.

tyecopeland 03-11-2024 09:27 PM

So they took Wylie last year and now allegretti. They must really like our backup o linemen.

Danguardace 03-11-2024 09:33 PM

Good for him well deserved

TribalElder 03-11-2024 09:37 PM

Allegretti is a BOSS

playing with a torn UCL and finishing the SuperBowl

3x champion

TD reception

just all around badass, hate to see him go

They now have 40% of the Chiefs starting offensive line during the Bucs Super Bowl.

Ming the Merciless 03-11-2024 09:40 PM

nice. earned every penny. wish we could afford to keep everyone but it's business.

next man up.

Jewish Rabbi 03-11-2024 09:44 PM

No ill will towards the guy. Was a ****ing boss in the Super Bowl and he has no chance to start here with our three interior OL.

Rain Man 03-11-2024 09:58 PM

This hurts. He's one of an elite group with three Chiefs Super Bowl rings.

Ok, the Chiefs will be fine but he was one of my favorite non-starters.

BWillie 03-11-2024 10:11 PM

He ****ing deserves every penny. Playing injured like a champ.

DaFace 03-11-2024 10:27 PM

Congrats to Nick. Wish we could keep him forever, but he deserves a shot at starting.

BigRedChief 03-11-2024 10:29 PM

$5 million per season?

Only starters left from the 2019 SB team has left on this current team. I think there are 4 left. Mahomes, Kelce, Jones and….. can’t remember

JohnnyHammersticks 03-11-2024 10:34 PM

Good for him. Deserved to get paid about as much as any Chiefs 2nd-stringer in recent memory. Should never, ever have to pay for a drink within a 300 mile radius of KC.

Thank you for your service, Mr. Allegretti!

jjchieffan 03-11-2024 10:39 PM

I was surprised when he didn't get signed last year and we were able to bring him back cheap. But I knew after his play in the Superbowl that he was as good as gone.

alanm 03-11-2024 10:44 PM

Thanks Nick. You've been a warrior. We're gonna need to find some capable linemen. Losing him stings.

Butker?

Bump 03-11-2024 11:35 PM

Good player, great backup. Tough SOB. Good luck to the 3-time!

scho63 03-12-2024 12:31 AM

Always liked Allegretti. Good luck Nick

bsp4444 03-12-2024 01:30 AM

Does this factor into the comp pick equation?

Buehler445 03-12-2024 02:34 AM

Mad mad respect for the man.

He wasn’t really all that good but was 100% out there. Definitely maximized his talent and was a joy to watch.

And that’s all beside the UCL thing which I still can’t wrap my mind around.

Hayneplane 03-12-2024 03:00 AM

Tough player who always filled in admirably without complaining at being the permanent backup. Good luck to him and deserves to get done right in the pay packet.

Mad props to Mr. Allegretti and deep thanks for the efforts. Happy he's making some bank, best to him and his family.

PAChiefsGuy 03-12-2024 05:53 AM

I wouldn't have minded keeping him over paying Trey Smith or having him start when Thuney leaves, but can't keep em all!

I think that's the full list of current chiefs who were on the first super bowl team. Those with * arent technically chiefs right now.

493rd 03-12-2024 06:27 AM

Damn, gonna miss Allegretti he played very well for us when called upon. What a warrior playing injured in the SB. Glad to see he’s getting paid though!

HemiEd 03-12-2024 06:50 AM

Good for him, he earned it but I am sad he is gone :(

Lzen 03-12-2024 07:10 AM

Thank you for your service. Good luck, Nick! You deserve it.

IowaHawkeyeChief 03-12-2024 07:28 AM

Great swing backup, earned his keep. Good luck in that shithole.

PHOG 03-12-2024 07:31 AM

Thanks Nick and congrats! So Washington has 2 of our backups, who's next? Prince Winnebago or whatever it is?

alpha_omega 03-12-2024 08:02 AM

Congratulations. Good for him.

Who do we see sliding into that spot?

Based on appearance, it seems like we have the perfect replacement in Mike Caliendo.

One of the good ones.

Glad to see he's getting his chance and some cash to stash away.

frozenchief 03-12-2024 12:30 PM

Sorry to see him go but I'm glad he's getting paid.

If you're a bearded Italian man out there looking for work, the Chiefs might have a spot for you as a backup interior lineman.

However, you must meet BOTH qualifications. Non-bearded Italians or Irish men with beards need not apply.

ChiefsFan63 03-12-2024 08:05 PM

Great to see Nick get paid. He was a warrior and deserves every penny. Good luck Nick!

It's amazing how fast a team turns over.

trndobrd 03-12-2024 09:59 PM

Good for Nick….well deserved. Hope to see him back in a few years to bang the drum and play the highlight reel.

Rain Man 03-12-2024 11:24 PM

Is Nick the only interior lineman to ever catch a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes? I know we've had a few offensive tackle touchdowns, but I don't remember another guard or center touchdown reception.

kccrow 03-13-2024 05:38 AM

Hell of a guy. Deserves to start for sure. Was surprised we got to keep him this past season.
