Surely self-defense comes into play when a guy rushes a stage with a (replica) gun and knife.

There is video of David saying he was going to go back and kick the shit out of him and then him going back and you can see his silhouette what appears to be him curb stomping him. I think at that point it doesn't seem to be self defense. I think the guy deserved it but I that doesn't mean he can't get sued.

I wish I could volunteer for jury duty. Chappelle would be found guilty only of not stomping the guy hard enough.
