The guy’s mental health seems to be in decline. He’s been posting really strange stuff online the last few days.

He was a bright spot for this franchise during some tough years and his intentions were always pure as a player and member of the community.

But in a way, maybe its a good thing he did so that people saw it and care enough to get those involved with resources who can help out.
Hope he gets help before he snaps and does something stupid/harmful.

Unfortunately this is the tragic price for playing this great game. Hopefully he gets the help and peace that he deserves because it's always heartbreaking to see stuff like this.

I can see a scenario where that has a bad end.

Hopefully the Chiefs/friends see this and someone he trusts can go talk to him...

Yeah I worry about the cops escalating it as well. I also worry about his family in there.

We have been warned that playing football does this. Many aren’t going to like to hear that and I think the more and more these CTE incidences accumulate; the less people are going to play football and eventually the game is going to pass away. I predict football will die within 50 years time.

The NFL settlement has been a farce at playing out affected former players.

I don't think it's as much changing the game as changing the way the league treats concussions. It's no secret that for decades guys would be sent back out there as long as they could remember their gap responsibilities. Guys would also lie about concussions so they could continue to play or not be held out of games.

Concussions are no joke. This needs to be treated more seriously...

It could be a number of things. Whatever it is it needs to be addressed immediately...

He's always written like this. Fragmented sentences. Words out of context in odd places. That part's nothing new. (Although his last few tweets could be a bit ... worse ... not terribly different ... language-wise.)

He's been complaining about his neighbors for months. He says no one speaks with him on the street. Says they're rich white people who don't acknowledge him or give him the time of day.

He's also been posting photographs his mom has sent to him that are intended to show odd cloud formations or something he interprets as Jesus or the Virgin Mary.

All that considered, it looks like somebody could be messing with him by shining lights into his windows. Probably just screwing with him ... who knows?

He says he has a friend who is an "officer" with him. That sounds troubling. I suggested he call the cops on the neighbor who is blasting lights into his home. We'll see, I guess.

However I listened to a Rogan podcast about dudes having psychotic breaks after smoking too much weed. We know he likes to smoke and I really doubt that’s it.

For the zillionth time, the players can’t prove the nfl caused all their CTE. People play football many years. And the lawyers accepted the offer anyway, they know more than you same with the Union that controls payouts

Drugs affect different people in different ways. Just because it doesn't affect you in a negative way doesn't mean it won't affect someone else in a bad way.

I'm not saying pot should be illegal or anything like that but some people should stay away from all drugs including alcohol and weed.

Hopefully Tamba gets the help he needs

So true. Chemicals affect different brains differently. The danger isn't in the chemical, per se, but in the reaction a particular brain has to it. Weed is, for the most part, harmless for most people. For a relatively small fraction of the population, its effects can be devastating and difficult to comprehend for people whose experience has been only pleasurable.

Unfortunately, we don't have a really good way of knowing which brains are which until we load them up with chemicals.

To avoid confusion, the people I spoke of earlier are not guys who have a small bowl after work and a couple on the weekend.

What I'm talking about are guys who don't (or can't) get out of bed without smoking half a joint. Then, they proceeded to smoke all day long, into the night, and beyond. Day after day. Week after week. After a while, the sizzle affects the brainpan.

I keep thinking about what happened to Mike Webster. Yes, the Chiefs should have somebody check on him, someone like Derrick Johnson or Dontari Poe. Hope his head isn't scrambled beyond repair.

Because even if pot isn't damaging their brain as some claim, they're subjecting themselves to oxygen deprivation and carbon monoxide just by smoking that much.

Derrick Johnson would be the perfect guy to help Tamba. Teammates for years and everyone respects him

A psychiatrist/counselor/medical professional would be the perfect guy/gal to help Tamba.

I’m saying if he refuses help or doesn’t want help. Just a friend being there is what someone needs. Maybe he’s going through some things that we don’t know about.
