We might be playing against Lamar Jackson in week 14

Joe Flacco is dealing with a hip injury, seeking medical opinions. Could require surgery, or prolonged rest, or possibly he could play thru it (though that seems less likely). Ravens have been ramping up Lamar Jackson, anyway. Figures. Baltimore sucks with Flacco, and now we will play an unknown.
|
Another bloodbath.
The Ravens sure imploded after a hot start. |
If we beat the Rams we will go 15-1
|
All arm and legs with a 10 cent brain. Cam knockoff without the annoying personality. We will break him.

Cardinals
Raiders twice Ravens with Lamar Jackson Chargers at home on a short week Seahawks with 10 days to prepare That is as favorable as it gets |

My son and I made the perfect bet before the draft. I told him last year that Lamar would not go in the 1st round. Made it all the way to 32. Soclose.

He gives the Ravens a better chance of winning than Flacco... but they still gonna lose
|
we'll be fine

who?

The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec suggests Lamar Jackson isn't a lock to start if Joe Flacco (hip) misses time.
The Ravens (4-5) are still in the playoff hunt despite losing three straight games. Jackson has been active over Robert Griffin III for Baltimore's dual-QB packages, but it's possible they could turn to Griffin if Flacco is out next week. The "expectation" is that it will be Jackson, though the Ravens have been noncommittal on their depth chart behind Flacco. |

But we could go from the 1 seed to 5 if we lose to the Chargers. |

At the very least, I give the Broncos a decent chance @Denver. |

What else did you mean? All I’m saying is I can definitely see one of those being a loss. |

There are still a lot of variables that will come into play. |

And I don’t see Denver throwing in the towel in a week 17 game against a division rival for the second time in a row. That would be humiliating. |

They arent winning out....winter is coming. Everyone saw how shitty the Panthers played...traveling to Pittsburgh on two days rest....now imagine that plus playing at night in December @Arrowhead. KC has a home game four days earlier and will be used to the weather. Chargers arent winning in KC unless the refs pull a "Raiders" on them. |

That being said, the Chargers have proven it enough times that you can't assume they will play up to their talent level. They have the skill to keep the run going and be a 12-4 team. History says that they will shoot themselves in the foot, but that being said, I think it's in their control to finish out the season with a great record and push us real hard. |
My biggest worry is the raiders. They will pull out every cheap trick to win. The game last year at oakland still burns me.

My biggest worry is the Chargers. They keep holding on and have yet to fold like they do every year... |
He won today to knock the Bengals back to .500. The unbelievable part is he ran the ball 27 times for 117 yards. When's the last time an NFL QB ran it 27 times? That's a ton of rushing attempts if you're in high school, let alone the NFL.
|
he won't last long term running like that in my opinion

I didn't watch. Did he get blown up?

We might be playing against Lamar Jackson in week 14
Quote:
Not really, he avoided the big hits really well. That kid is extremely fast. Kind of shocked me when watching on Red Zone. He was way to quick to bail on the pocket to tuck and run. |
Flacco to Denver or Oakland in 2020.

NO GAME TAPE

I agree |

We'll have to play a lot of zone against these guys. I think Jackson is too fast for any QB spy we'd put on him. |

First time rookie QB's visits to Arrowhead always suck.
|
I gotta admit...Jackson was really fun to watch yesterday.
|
He's got RG3 as a consultant, so it probably won't last too long.
|
I think that we end up playing against RG3. No way that Jackson stays healthy running as much as he did yesterday.

Baltimore's offense looked like the 95" Nebraska offense. Billay would love it.

:D |
Doubt he'll get too banged up playing that way though. He isn't built like a QB. He's built like a RB/WR.
They're not trotting a pencil neck out there like Matt Ryan or Eli Manning. |

Spy O'Daniel on him all day.
problem solved. |
As a Ravens fan who has never missed watching a game, it's a home game for you guys, so that's 10 points right there. I'll say Chiefs 37 Ravens 17. We will be lucky to finish 8-8 and miss the playoffs again and John Harbaugh will be fired in January. I enjoyed yesterday Bengals game, but you're right, Lamar would not survive a full season of playing like he did. He did pass for 150 yards, he might make it eventually if he learns to pass first and run second. They were calling a lot of the runs from the beginning, run-pass-option type plays. Good Luck tonight against the Rams! The Chiefs are my adopted alternative team.
