Let’s all appreciate the Colts turning into a tire fire

Finally this organization gets what it deserves. Finally that drunk, drug infested catastrophe of an owner gets what he deserves.

The Colts are now the most embarrassing franchise in the NFL. Yes moreso than the Browns, if you can believe that. Respected football people would actually go to Cleveland and not Indy.

Nobody wants to be apart of that hell hole and it’s glorious to watch the flames burn.

If you missed it, Nagy pretty much turned them down without blinking according to Brad Childress:

<a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/22ki9b"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/22ki9b.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a>

Steve Wilks politely doesn’t want anything to do with them. Oops! Schedule is full guys!

<a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/22kidn"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/22kidn.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a>

Now a college coach...a BAYLOR HC doesn’t want anything to do with them.

<a href="https://imgflip.com/gif/22kih7"><img src="https://i.imgflip.com/22kih7.gif" title="made at imgflip.com"/></a>

That mother****er would rather stay in a shithole like Baylor than take an NFL job with Andrew Luck.

They’re ****ed. Luck is probably done and they’ll likely miss out Darnold and Rosen, who aren’t that great anyway.

watch it burn, gentlemen. The “luck” is over.

He’s not done, but he is damaged goods. Cannot blame Nagy for having confidence in his coaching ability with a rookie who is healthy. He has already proven to himself that he can help these kids a lot, judging by Mahomes’ tape now compared to college. Andrew had enormous potential but he is damaged and that is tough to overcome.

The Franchise 01-12-2018 11:04 AM

Why would you want to go to the Colts? That owner just screams crazy and you know he's involved in every decision there is. He lied to the fans last year and I guarantee he's lying to the fans right now about Luck.

InChiefsHeaven 01-12-2018 11:07 AM

Payton will be the next GM there...just watch...

RunKC 01-12-2018 11:10 AM

Nagy was with Ballard for 4 years and he still couldn’t get him to come to Indy.

I wouldn’t be shocked at all if the Colts draft a QB at 3 if one of the top 2 guys falls to them.

Quesadilla Joe 01-12-2018 11:11 AM

If Luck was 100% healthy coaches would be fighting for that job. I bet the uncertainty with Luck is driving people away.

They're better off trying to trade down, stockpile picks and grab a LT.

You say this now, but the Colts will almost certainly get Luck back healthy and knock us out of the playoffs in the wildcard round next season. Because Chiefs.

RealSNR 01-12-2018 11:59 AM

They're never truly in a tire fire, unfortunately. It's good to see them have multiple seasons of sustained losing, but that team always manages to get placed in the single luckiest positions when it comes to the draft and (particularly) QBs.

It's too much to expect them to maintain this losing skid for very long.

What I'd REALLY like to see happen is see them find their Andy Dalton and get forced to give him a longterm deal.

NFL Purgatory. That is what they deserve. At least a decade or more of it. That's the very least the football gods could do to them.

Maybe that shit happens to Alex Smith and Matt Cassel and Elvis Grbac and Steve Bono and all the other reeruned game manager QBs.

But not anymore. Guys, I bought into the home-drafted franchise QB mantra years ago. This place helped me realize the error of my ways in the before time. We've got one now, and he looks like he might be pretty good. So **** it. I'm going all in. I'm converting back to homer Chiefs fan, this time on solid theological ground. We've got a QB. Anything good can happen to us now. Before it was impossible. No longer is that the case.

We may not ever win a Super Bowl, but this bullshit of letting random ass ****ing teams come back in the playoffs is over for the time being.

We're going to win more playoff games. We're going to even win a home playoff game or two. And we're going to beat shitty bitch ass teams like the Tits and the Colts in the playoffs because we no longer have a derpy QB who takes his foot off the gas when we've got a lead.

Their division is rapidly turning into one of the fiercest as well. Titans look like they're going to be a pain in the assholes of every team going forward with their ugly win style, the Jaguars need a legit QB and they very well may be Superbowl contenders with that D, and if the Texans defense is healthy and they can pick up where they left off with Watson who knows how far they can go. Colts may be the bottom bitch of that division for a while.

Hoopsdoc 01-12-2018 06:09 PM

I’m actually pleased with the job Ballard is doing so far. For one, he’s managed to put a muzzle on Irsay, which not even Polian was able to do. He’s kept everything top secret.

They interviewed Nagy Sunday, they’re interviewing Wilks tomorrow. There have undoubtedly been other interviews in the interim, we just haven’t heard about them.

Buehler445 01-12-2018 06:31 PM

As soon as the Colts blow a 24 point halftime lead and lose a playoff game, or have a kicker miss three shots at winning a playoff game, or lose a playoff game where their defense doesn't force a single punt, then I'll feel sorry for them. Until then, screw em....

Feel sorry for them? Shit...at the point, we'd just be about even....they'd still need to go into a playoff game with a league leading rusher against one of the poorest run defenses in the league, and not manage a first down for the entire first half.

Have you seen that guard play? He won offensive rookie of the month, for petes sake. That's unheard of for a guard.

He's every bit as good as advertised. Colts went from most sacks allowed to the least in one season, mainly because of Nelson.

We have one of these "generational" guards every few years. He's still a guard and if he weren't protecting Andrew Luck, nobody would care.

All four have a lot of upside, with Leonard looking like a star and Smith a long time starter.
