College Football

Who’re y’all watching today? I’m at Army’s last home game of the year as they take on Duke. A win today makes them undefeated at home.

WhawhaWhat 11-11-2017 12:03 PM

Michigan State looks like they thought the game was at 2:30 today.

4-5 Minnesota taking us to the woodshed. I've had wet dreams about Scott Frost on the sidelines.

From ESPN stats Twitter

An eight-play sequence in Florida-South Carolina featured:

2 interceptions
2 lost fumbles
2 penalties
2 sacks

GloucesterChief 11-11-2017 03:54 PM

Saw that the Fuskies lost on Friday. Not sure how they got so highly ranked. The two top 50 teams they played, they lost to. They don't even play USC or Zona this year.

Watching the faux #1 get thrashed is pretty entertaining. Love it.

Easy 6 11-11-2017 06:16 PM

I watched the first half of Ohio St vs Michigan St today, but Ohio was murdering them so I turned it off

Keep meaning to make a real effort to get into college ball but it just never happens, not really sure what the disconnect is

The college I attended for 3 semesters didn't have a football program, so I dont have that... and there are just sooo many different teams that it makes it tough to pick one or two to root for

If nothing else, I'd love to know more about it just for the sake of knowing which players are worth watching for draft purposes

I suggest you not be a fan of Washington St. We are the Chiefs of the Pac 12 except we went to two Rose Bowls in my lifetime and lost both.

Well, at least you made it there twice I guess :D

If anything, I should be an Illini fan, they're not far away, I used to live there and went to see a few games while there during the Jeff George, Kevin Hardy and co era... but as far as I can tell, they've been absolute shit ever since

Army went undefeated at home for the first time since '96. 1996 was the same year we won the Commander-in-Chief's trophy by beating both Navy and Air Force. Let's do it again on December 9th!

Absolutely. Hope it isn’t next year, but we should be alright with Kuli and Rumph.

I know he’s going to be very selective after the Texas debacle, especially since he’s back home in Miami, so he’s not going to jump for just any gig.

Right now, he’s super content.

Miami, Clemson and Auburn have some damn good defensive players on their teams.

Take notes, Veach.

FloridaMan88 11-11-2017 10:40 PM

Miami 9-0, despite arguably their best overall player on offense (Mark Walton) out for the season since the FSU game, their best WR (Ahmmon Richards) limited for most of the season with hamstring issues and arguably their most talent QB on the roster (N’Koski Perry) essentially redshirting this season.

Not bad.

Hopefully they can win out and beat Clemson in the ACC Championship. They will have to win out to get into the playoff. And hopefully this is the last we see of perpetually overrated Notre Dame.

Good job Miami

As long as everything goes along normally, I've got one more year here. There have been times when cadets have had to stay an extra semester or year to make up physical courses in the event they get injured.

True but he did have the 12th, 12th, and 7th rated recruiting classes. Talent wasn't the problem at Georgia but regardless enjoy your season. I'd trade alot to see my Huskers playing as well as your Canes are.

He’s about to have the #1 class in 2018. There’s nothing like South Florida talent man. We just needed a coach to lock it down and coach them up.

Gruden is getting paid pretty handsomely to do the play by play gig. Not sure if he wants to add the pressure and hours associated with being a college coach for about the same amount of money.
