Actually Gaines is pretty good -- he just got put in some tough positions. But I like his drive and think he can become a good CB...

I saw Phillip at the mall 2 years ago in the food court. A couple kids noticed him from a distance and they both went up and said hi and got a picture. Good to see Gaines was a nice guy towards the kids.

I'd be all with taking a CB with our first (which is what, a late 2nd round) pick now...

What I see is the D taking a back seat. I can't think of a single player drafted where I went "Oh, that's definitely a Sutton guy."

If I were a quarterback with the same non-existent skill level that I have now, I would identify where Gaines was on the field, run over and tell that receiver to just run straight, and then throw the ball as deep as I could towards said receiver immediately after the snap.
