Was thinking about some of the jerseys I've seen in different sports and how people either jump the gun on a young player or just like some random guy.

What jersey do you own that really doesn't deserve owning or is not going to be duplicated in public? Any sport even.

Had a Cassel. Was wearing it one December at the Westgate Super book while watching the Chiefs. Cassel shit himself as he so often did. While walking out, I took off that jersey and threw it in the trash. Haven't owned a jersey since.

Yeah, I had one of those. It was a really shitty knockoff - the numbers were sort of pink. I think it threw it out. He was such a bust that he wasn't even worth knockoff jersey money.

I owned a ton of jerseys as a kid and teenager. Not just Chiefs jerseys, but a variety, because I just LOVED THE SPORT I guess.

When the Texans were introduced, I was really excited about the prospect of a brand new team being added to the league. New team, new logo, new colors, new everything. So I got a friggin David Carr jersey.

And it didn't even look like a real Texans jersey, I guess because the designs weren't finalized? I don't know. But that's gotta be one of the worst ones for a multitude of reasons.

As soon as there were NFL players who were younger than me, I felt weird about wearing them. My most recent jersey might be a hideous yellow Priest Holmes that I got toward the tail end of his career. I might be tempted to get a Mahomes jersey at some point, though. I can make an exception for a player who inspires a childlike hope in battered fans like me.

I've always wanted to get a Winchester jersey, just cause I get tired of seeing the same jerseys around town.

My first non Chiefs jersey was a Fred Taylor. Then later on I got a Saints Reggie Bush jersey. Those are the only 2 non Chiefs I've ever had.

I don't wear my jerseys hardly at all anymore, but I don't really understand why there's so many jersey haters out there.

Mine would be Champ Bailey only because the other 2 Jersey's I still have are guys in the HOF.

I have a DT home jersey that i dont wear because it is way too big. I used to be much fatter and I liked wearing hoodies under the jersey back in the day.

I have a D Bowe away jersey that I dont wear because I am terrified that I am going to get the bright white jersey filthy.

I also have an old red Vick Falcons jersey, a reversable Marino jersey, a Paul pierce celtics jersey, and a Ray Borque Bruins jersey.

I would say the one you are least likely to see in public these days is the Vick Falcons jersey, because of the negative press of course. The mose obscure, however is probably the Ray Borque.

I dont understand everyone here shitting on Bowe. Him and Charles/LJ kept this team semi watchable through the dark ages.

A bit off topic, during the broadcast of the game on Sunday I noticed a Chiefs fan in the stands wearing a #23 jersey. I'm immediately pissed off wondering why in the hell someone would be wearing a Philip Gaines jersey..

Then I realized that it could have been either custom or maybe a Patrick Surtain jersey.

I just remembered that the first Chiefs jersey I ever owned was a Greg Hill jersey. Growing up in South Dakota.....I would never find any Chiefs stuff anywhere.
