I would have been interested to hear from deserving inductees Morten Andersen and Kenny Easley.

I didn't need to hear from Ladainian Tomlinson and Kurt Warner since they're on TV all the time.

Whatever about Jason Taylor.

I have no interest in hearing from Jerry Jones and Olandis Gary or whoever that is. Total garbage picks.

Was he presented by Tonya Harding? They're the two people in the world who have benefited the most from cheap shots to the knees.

I don't give a shit, Jared Allen is another great example of a shit ton of worthless sacks.

3 sacks in the first half and nothing at the end with the game on the line. Garbage time stats for defense.

Taylor was a 3 time All Pro, had 139.5 sacks, 48 forced fumbles, 29 fumbles recovered, 9 TDs, member of the 2000s All Decade Team, and 6 pro bowls. Those are Hall of Fame numbers

Dylan 08-05-2017 07:58 PM

Wow, LaDainian Tomlinson had an awesome story about his road to the NFL.

Loved Tomlinson' recollection of attending Jay Novacek's football camp and meeting his idol Emmitt Smith.

Jamaal - 9,717 yards from scrmmage, 5.5 yards per rush, 63 TDs

Olandis Gary or whatever - 8,887 yard from scrimmage, 4.6 yards per rush, 65 TDs

Quiz: Which of these is least deserving of the Hall of Fame?

Red Dawg 08-05-2017 08:18 PM

The HOF is a big joke. It's really the Hall of Pretty good and a popularity contest these days. Davis, Warner and that old lineman have no business being inducted.

Are they really among the best ever? **** no.

My bad. The safety Easley who retired a thousand years ago. If you can't get in after 15 tries then how does your status change after 20 tries? It's stupid.

Easley definitely deserves the Hall of Fame. He's the most fearsome strong safety I've ever seen, and I've watched football for nearly 50 years.

He was a victim of defensive back discrimination, as have been Deron Cherry, Albert Lewis, and Johnny Robinson. Defensive backs deserve Hall of Fame induction, and we must right the wrongs of yesteryear.

Quarterbacks in the Hall of Fame who played the bulk of their career after 1970: 15

Safeties in the Hall of Fame who played the bulk of their career after 1970: 5

Recall that there are twice as many safeties on the field than quarterbacks, so quarterbacks are 6 times more likely to be selected than safeties. That's worse discrimination than burning crosses in the defensive backfield.

I felt bad for you and the Giants. He played pitiful & I don't think it was injuries but he was bad. So I was surprised he reserected his career with the Cardinals. All in all though it worked out for the Giants getting the good Manning brother and win a couple Super Bowls over the cheating Patriots.

Rain Man 08-05-2017 09:20 PM

I like Kurt, but his jokes are really falling flat.

Dylan 08-05-2017 09:25 PM

Quote:

Warner signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants, who had traded for rookie Eli Manning that spring. The team wanted a veteran quarterback to run the Giants until a younger quarterback was ready to take over. Warner struggled in the club, however, and the Giants went on an eight-game losing streak. Eventually, the veteran QB found himself playing the backup role.

In March 2005, Warner signed a four-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

In 2004, Warner sucked and lost his job after losing eight games in a row - He was benched and Coughlin turned the team over to Eli.

In 2005, The Giants went 11-0 and won the NFC East Division.
