Just stopped by to make your day

https://www.silverandblackpride.com/...l-assault-case
The grand jury in Ohio took just a few hours to come to the conclusion that no charges would be brought on Gareon Conley for the allegations of sexual assault. This is a big deal for obvious reasons, but also a bid deal considering how little evidence is often necessary in cases that go to grand jury. It shows how little there was to go on in this case.

Reggie McKenzie spoke after the news came down.

“I’m excited for Gareon,” said McKenzie. “It’s tough on a young man like that to go through this. I’m excited for Gareon and the Raiders. For the process to work. We’re excited and then we’ll move forward.”

“We just trusted our process, really,” McKenzie continued. “I don’t want to get into details about who, what and all that, but we just felt good going into it with all the information that we gathered it would come out this way and I’m just glad it worked out.”

Though it’s a huge weight off of Conley’s shoulders, he is currently rehabbing an injury and has not practiced in camp yet.

Still a team of convicts. So what , one got away.

eDave 07-31-2017 03:44 PM

Good for him. Now he needs to steer clear of situations like this. Focus.

However, a clean Raider will likely be shunned in the locker room.

KCUnited 07-31-2017 03:48 PM

Good for Gareon. Now he knows how good the Chiefs feel walking around free after that gaping we put on y'alls b-hole last year.

Did the condom not fit so they had to acquit?

Hell I wish the media would get off our dicks , I hate players reading that hype shit... Teams will be gunning for us this year hard, if they do good it won't be a cake walk ... I really wish they would focus on the Chiefs more and crown them the winner of the SB this year before pre season

So who cares? This is a Chiefs forum for Chiefs fans we don't care about anything but hating the Raiders we just assume they are all rapist that's what the team is and fans alike.

raybec 4 07-31-2017 04:19 PM

I feel confident in saying Gareon "Darren Sharper Jr" Conley will be a good corner and an unrepentant rapist.

Yeah the Fade had a good year last year too. Too bad they only come once every 15 years.

Until we beat y'all, we've got nothing to crow about. Division still runs through KC even with Smith as your QB.

Raiders secondary shaping up nicely-

Got some good young talent back there in Karl Joseph, Obi Melifonwu and Gareon Conley-

Oh, he's got the speed- problem is- Chiefs got Alex...he can't throw the ball more than 20 yards with any consistent accuracy at all-

Which pretty much makes Hill useless

Neither team is going anywhere in the playoffs past the Patriots but next year is we will have a new gunslinger you should start worrying about. Hell he may get his start against you guys in December?

Even on short throws Hill can make you guys miss and he is gone with the wind.

I dunno, I think if some team can get the #1 seed at home could give the Pats a lot of problems- Course, things have to go their way, couple lucky bounces, no turnovers, limited penalties and a strong ST outing and a offense that can control a lot of the time.. a strong run game to keep Brady off the field as much as possible-

Oaklands got the run game to do just that- Odds of the #1 seed... almost impossible... That alone will kill a team, having to go to Foxboro in that snow and crap-

Hmm. Interesting that you didn't mention a strong defense. Which Chokeland doesn't have outside of Mack. Face it, with that D, the Fade are doomed in the postseason.

I'll believe it when I see it. What exactly have the Fade done this offseason that makes you think that they will be improved on defense? And don't forget, they have a tougher schedule this year.

@Tennessee #11 team last year and very improved call this one a loss
vs New York Jets Shit team. I'll give you the win here
@Washington #3 offense last year...This is a loss
@Denver Shitty offense, no quarterback, but at pile high you lose
vs Baltimore #17 offense, but Maclin will kill your defense...Another loss
vs Los Angeles Chargers Dangerous team if healthy, but they never are...Win
vs Kansas City Face it, KC has Carr's number....Loss
@ Buffalo Middle of the pack offense, Could go either way. I pick the home team.....Loss
@ Miami Bottom half offense, inconsistent team....Raiders win
vs New England LOL. No chance in hell......LOSS!!
vs Denver You can beat that shit offense at home.....Win
vs New York Giants Depends on which Eli shows up, at home, I give Chokeland the win
@ Kansas City See above....Sweep by KC...again!
vs Dallas Dallas destroys your boys at home, Zeke for 200yds....Loss
@ Philadelphia If Wentz continues to improve he destroys you. At Philly, this is a loss
@ Los Angeles Chargers By this time Chargers have 43 guys on IR, so Faiders win

Looks like a 6-10 season to me.

You're referring to the eye witnesses who said he never touched her, and then later Conley's own lawyer conceded there was a "consensual sexual event"?

This is not the same 2016 Raiders defense, it's a whole different team-

Hired Pagano from the Chargers, Mario Edwards Jr, one of the best edge set DE's in the NFL is now back after missing the entire 2016- Raiders got a top 10 CB at 24 in Gareon Conley, drafted UConn's Obi Melifonwu one of the tallest, fastest safeties in the NFL to strictly cover TE's like Kelce etc- Karl Joseph is back after a terrific rookie year after missing some games last year. A safety Ronnie Lott just said will be one of the best safeties in a couple years.. thats not me saying it but Ronnie Lott- Drafted DT Eddie Vanderoes to replace a Dan Williams who was complete ass last year. Denico Autry has his cast off now- last year dude had to play with a club on one of his hands-

So many things have changed...

With the addition of Jared Cook, and signing the best return guy in the NFL that should set the Raiders in good field position on returns and signing BeastMode.. this Raiders offense was potent last year- it's even more potent now..-In fact it's so loaded it's almost criminal-

There's no team in the AFC other than the Pats that can hang offensively with Oakland- NONE

With the vast improvement on defense along with the new offensive weapons its gonna make the Raiders a top 10 defense-

You will know this to be true here soon enough-

If you asked a Chiefs fan, "What makes you think your team will be better?" and we rattled off a bunch of draft picks from this past April, you would laugh and call us all homers.

You're not just a Knowmo-grade homer. You're a hypocritical homer. You're even worse.

Raiders v Chiefs is always more fun when both teams are good.

Especially when the Raiders still can't find a way to win. :)

BlackOp 08-01-2017 11:42 AM

As I've pointed out multiple times...Raiders are 0-9 against play-off bound teams that didn't have Osweiler at QB. This is over that past 2 seasons. They beat Denver 15-12 when Brock was a back-up. They required the refs to take off a Hopkins TD and short spot them three times in a row against the Texans. Houston was on the Raiders 16 yard line and getting ready to take the lead.

Osweiler was so bad that the Texans bribed the Browns with a draft pick to take him off their hands...He's a back-up, now, on a last place team with no QB.

When the Raiders can beat a legit team without questionable officiating...I'll take them serious. The rest is NFL manufactured hype for a team that hasn't proven anything other than they can win close games, late, against sub-par opponents.

Carr shit the bed against KC with the division on the line....117 yards and a 38 passer rating. That was his opportunity to define himself and the Raiders on national TV in a big-time game.

All the predictions of them being in the AFC Championship game are based on wishful thinking, not actual performance history. For the pundits to act as if they are somehow on the Patriot's level is borderline insanity...

NFL has a real issue on it's hands...they have geared the league to be QB identity driven. The only problem is none of the newer QB are showing much star power and the "faces of the NFL" are all nearing retirement. They NEED Carr to be successful...that's where the unwarranted hype/questionable officiating is stemming from. They have Luck and Newton...and not much else. They are going to bend over backwards to ensure he is a household name. Their life-blood is advertising revenue and Blake Bortles isn't going to sell to a national audience.

The idea that Obi will be elite just because he was great at the combine is like a Chief fan saying Chris Conley is the next Randy Moss because he was a combine freak.

Oh, and Obi played in the AAC. If he wasn't in the ACC he woulda at least had the opportunity to intercept Deshaun Watson a few times
