Iowanian 04-28-2017 07:14 PM

His real name must be John snow, because I know nothing about...John snow

Steron 04-28-2017 07:14 PM

Who the **** is that? I've never heard one pundit say his name.

Al Bundy 04-28-2017 07:15 PM

He is a STUD...

pugsnotdrugs19 04-28-2017 07:16 PM

So he's supposed to have a high ceiling, but is really raw... hmm.

And is he an DE? Edge? So many questions.

carcosa 04-28-2017 07:16 PM

ESPN loves the pick, for what it's worth.

Help me out here, should we be happy or ticked off?

raybec 4 04-28-2017 07:16 PM

I'm shocked they left Kamara on the board.

ChiefsCountry 04-28-2017 07:16 PM

BlackBob was pimping him early this year if I remember right.

Cautiously optimistic with this one.

pugsnotdrugs19 04-28-2017 07:18 PM

Does anyone know if he was announced as a DE or OLB? Either way, seems like he is pass rush help which I love.

Unsmooth-Moment 04-28-2017 07:18 PM

Never heard of him. I like upside though. But wormley and Kamara both available?

Why? He's probably not a 3 down back.

I would of liked a more instant player, but Dorsey did fine here.

thabear04 04-28-2017 07:23 PM

Will his last name fit on the back of his jersey.

Nixhex 04-28-2017 07:23 PM

Monster size. Could be a beast!

Mr. Laz 04-28-2017 07:24 PM

I guess this draft is just a ignore 2017 and get guys that won't be ready until 2019.

I guess we are already a super bowl level team.

TribalElder 04-28-2017 07:26 PM

Good luck with this one Mitch holthus

Tarzan/Jane

( sorry, but no need to suck off EVERY draft choice just cuz )

NOT trolling, Jason... we should all be allowed to offer a harsh opinion on such things once or twice.

Just like with Pat, I hope to laugh at myself in a year or three over this... that the MFers are great.

siberian khatru 04-28-2017 07:31 PM

Terez Paylor's pre-draft evaluation:

DE TANOH KPASSAGNON, Villanova: Kpassagnon is a huge dude (6-7, 289) who has the look of a five-technique in 3-4. I was impressed by his athleticism and length. He explodes off the snap, he plays hard and was a team captain. I’m in.

Grade: 6.7

Alot of scouts liked him. Never got hyped by the media.

Lots of great players came from small schools (Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice)

Fits right in with Dorsey 's draft tendency. Get the freakish athletic talent you can't teach and trust in Reid's staff to coach them up whether it's character concerns (Hill, Kelce, Peters....) or molding raw talent that needs polishing (Mahomes, Jones, Ford, Fisher...).

Don't know if I'm missing something but, doesn't look all that spectacular. Looks like management thinks we don't need any immediate help. I would have expected someone who would not be a project.

We lost Howard and just drafted a prospect who is extremely similar to Chris Jones in athleticism and strength.

I see him playing a lot in the nickel.

I agree. What I meant was his play was underwhelming. What's he do against SEC talent? Like I said, I don't know shit. I hope he pans out. Seems like a reach to me.

DE in a 3-4

Left DE is on the edge
Right DE is inside the ROLB(Hali)

If he's that big but still has a quick first step, could work.

Rush the passer but still set the edge.

One of the vids shows him against South Dakota State, which at the time, was #8 in the country.

One thing I noticed in both vids is that he's pretty consistently double-teamed and he moves more like a LB than a DE.

Dorsey does this to us every year. We say, "Who!?" and the dude turns heads when the ball snaps.

In my amateur opinion? Yes.

He looks lean for his weight, which lends itself to shedding blockers and pursuing the QB. He doesn't look like a guy I'd trust clogging rush lanes.

Yep. He's always impressed me with his front-seven picks. The only pick I was underwhelmed with was Dee Ford, and by no means has he been bad. I expect him to have similar results to Chris Jones.
