Kizer vs Mahomes II

Which QB do you pick?

Sully 04-12-2017 12:36 PM

It's tough for me, and I haven't made a decision, yet. Right now I am leaning Kizer, but it's not by much.

Titty Meat 04-12-2017 12:58 PM

Mahomes not even close.

OldSchool 04-12-2017 01:06 PM

Neither. Webb in the 3rd >>> either of those in the 1st.

Bowser 04-12-2017 03:35 PM

Man, I don't know. Kizer seems like he would be more ready to go than Mahomes, especially in Andy's offense, but Mahomes may have a longer shelf life and upside than Kizer. This is a tough one.

I think Kizer has a better chance to stick and be a solid backup. Mahomes will either be great or terrible, not much middle ground IMO.

agreed, from the way they talk on Sirius he has a really high ceiling with a great arm. Lots of intangibles , just needs a little NFL coaching.

I think Kizer got a shit deal his last year paying in front of Touchdown Jesus. I think the kid is uber talented and wouldn't be upset if we took him. From what I've read about Mahomes he has that arm and intangible feeling about him that teams look for. Either way, I don't think either of them are ready to suit up week 1 and go in their rookie seasons.

MahiMike 04-12-2017 04:07 PM

Poll needs a 'neither' option.

kccrow 04-12-2017 05:46 PM

Mahomes by far. Not even a decision in my book.

milkman 04-12-2017 05:56 PM

So, how is Knowmo's vote tallied in this poll?

Black Bob 04-12-2017 06:45 PM

Barf...

Hold my nose and take Mahommes. Maybe he can play TE when he doesn't work out at QB?

-King- 04-12-2017 11:33 PM

Kizer. Much more pro ready and even if he doesn't become a franchise QB, he can be a game manager which at a rookie salary, is very valuable and can get you to a championship.

I think Mahomes will crash and burn if he starts before 2019. Just too much of a project.

I ****ed up on smart phone and voted Kizer, mean mahomes

Dayze 04-13-2017 10:05 AM

who was it that had a reportedly 'bad' combine?...was it Kizer? I remember seeing a quick segment on someone and everyone was very disappointed on the velocity, and accuracy of both long and even short throws. but I was only half paying attention, so I can't remember which QB. on NFLN during one of the wrap up shows after each day of the combine etc.

O.city 04-13-2017 10:08 AM

Kizer is a headcase apparently

RunKC 04-13-2017 10:22 AM

Watch Kizer's Texas game. Even in one of his best games, he still has major issues with accuracy.

He's falling for a reason

His response to Brian Kelly's criticism about him leaving early and not being ready was one of the greatest answers to a question I ever read.

Kizer probably has a little bit lower ceiling than Mahomes but has a much higher floor. That's the difference.

Yep....but he's a diva.

"It's honestly the truth," Kizer told the Kap and Co. radio show in Chicago, per transcription from NBC Sports. "I have two more years available (of college eligibility). I'm only 21 years of age. There is a lot of growth for me. There's a lot of growth for everyone in this draft. There's a lot of guys out there who had to make big adjustments as they move into the NFL, and I know it. That's why I'm not the No. 1 quarterback guaranteed walking into this draft as we speak."

Fantastic answer. I like the kid Pest. I'd be perfectly fine taking him.

This draft has a lot of QB's that can fit here and they are all mostly the same. I will take any of them in the first 2 rds.

Kizer does have bad accuracy problems tho. I'd still love to have him but good ****ing god does it scare the hell out of me.

I've been giving you shit for it too, but I totally agree. I feel pretty confident that we come away with a QB that Dorsey/Reid feel can replace Alex in a year or two. That's all I can ask for.

Viper400 04-14-2017 04:09 AM

Mahomes.

Ban anyone calling for Peterman

Chiefnj2 04-17-2017 10:10 AM

First round? Neither.

2nd round - Mahomes.

chiefscafan 04-17-2017 12:46 PM

No way Mahomes lasts that long

Mahomes won't be there at 27, much less 59.

IMO, Mahomes will go in the 20"so range, before this period of misinformation he was ranked as a 2nd round prospect.

Kiimo 04-17-2017 05:42 PM

I'd move up to take Mahomes.

But I'd prefer to not draft Kizer in any round.

Do. Not. Want.
