Kelce

He needs an attitude check badly. No excuse for his behavior. Can you imagine our offense without him though?
:(

TigeRRUppeRRcut 01-15-2017 10:48 PM

Selfish, immature, attention-seeking....

Why Not? 01-15-2017 10:49 PM

He was Jesse James on the stat sheet tonight, basically. The dude is a hot head idiot who most of the board wants to **** like they're on his reality show. Completely shit the bed tonight in the biggest game of his career.

ThaVirus 01-15-2017 10:53 PM

Meh. He's got issues for sure, but he's so talented you put up with it. He's worth it to keep around.

Besides, his personal foul was wiped out thanks to Maclin. His only real gaffe that truly affected the team was the drop.

KranzDictum 01-15-2017 10:53 PM

What an embarrassing performance. To drop a huge pass then come back a couple plays later and pull a punk move on National TV. That is not how a leader acts with the playoffs on the line.

Maybe the culture of drafting players with problems is reaching from out of the locker room and onto the field.

At least Fake Gronk can look back on today and fondly remember the cheap shot he got in. That and all that money he is stealing from kc will keep him warm like my SB50 gear does.

tk13 01-15-2017 10:54 PM

He just made ESPN for his postgame comments.

Travis Kelce on Eric Fisher's hold: "That was horseshit." Said ref who called it "shouldn't even be able to work at Foot Locker."
— Sam Mellinger (@mellinger) January 16, 2017

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-15-2017 10:54 PM

Kelce would be the most hated player in the history of this board if he played for Denver. The guy is a solid gold asshole.

hitchief 01-15-2017 10:55 PM

cost us big time in this game. That dropped pass was huge and a momentum changer. He makes that catch and we are 1st and goal at the what 9. Probably score a TD soon after and save tons of time and then its a different ball game.

If that pretty boy wants all the attention and accolades, he has no right to drop that ball.

Kelce shouldn't be a chief past this contract. He's a prima donna bitch. He has no right to talk if he's not going to back it up with plays in a real game. People should start calling him baby Jeremy Shockey. He will never be as good as Gronk or Tony G.

In the most important game of the year he had two dropped passes (for 1st downs) and a stupid penalty...

I care too, but I think this was a chance for him to shine and he didn't. They were covering him with old-ass Harrison and Timmons tonight. Can't get open against those guys and can't catch the ball when it's in your hands? He's a punk-ass bitch that's all talk.

ChiefsCountry 01-15-2017 11:33 PM

Kelce will get a nice fine for this.

Kelce just trying to make Eric Fisher not feel as bad...Taking up for his teammate by trashing the ref. It was a hold though

Thats funny. Although, if you want to win catch the ****ing ball and don't commit stupid stupid penalties.

Rain Man 01-15-2017 11:47 PM

Kelce isn't always prudent, but I like the fact that he doesn't just give up like the rest of the team. This team needs players who want to win and will fight back.

Jerm 01-15-2017 11:49 PM

Kelce is the poster boy for one of the Chiefs' biggest problems and that's the lack of accountability and discipline.

Oh and his bullshit post game rant was completely engineered to take the eyes off of his drop and subsequent mind numbingly stupid penalty.

His performance tonight showed us once again that he is not deserving of being a top paid safety. Pay him in the top third at his position, if he asks any more then let him go find another team willing him to pay more to be on a non-contending team.

I'd rather use that money to get a game changer on every down like Jamie Collins.

I'm not giving up on Kelce. Somebody needs to fan the flames.

He dropped a pass in coverage - he's not a machine. He's the best TE in the league, which nobody is bashful to say when we win.

It's what I wanted to believe, but he just isn't. He probably could be, but he hasn't backed it up in big games. He was being covered by Lawrence Timmons by the way. Who would have thought that would be effective against Kelce?

Most of the team that's any good does. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to tell that kc is a paycheck team, not one that's going to any fancy SB.

Not awesome when you drop a key pass and draw one of the dumbest 15 yard penalties that you can in a playoff game.

Agree. Now that I've slept on it, I'm 100% behind Travis. He may have dropped a pass he should of had, and had a little indiscretion with the shove, but in the end he's right, productive, and the kind of player this team needs to keep if we ever want the streak to end. Unlike Houston who's not productive, a literal joke, a "plays a few games a year" guy, and has no business calling-out or lecturing anybody.

I hope he stays, but I'm pretty sure the Chefs will probably try to replace him with some washed-up dude who reads from the script..

If they do try to shit on him (more than the league taking their pound of flesh), it'll be funny if Travis goes to a team that trots back in here an does it to us again. Lord knows Sutton will have a flashback that think Houston can cover him.

scho63 01-16-2017 11:22 AM

Kelce's Theme Song

You take the good, you take the bad,
you take them both and there you have
The facts of life, the facts of life.

There's a time you got to go and show
You're growin' now you know about
The facts of life, the facts of life.

When the world never seems
to be livin up to your dreams
And suddenly you're finding out
the facts of life are all about you, you.

It takes a lot to get 'em right
When you're learning the facts of life. (learning the facts of life)
Learning the facts of life (learning the facts of life)
Learning the facts of life.

Iowanian 01-16-2017 11:41 AM

I don't want to be his friend, I wouldn't want to live next door to him and I sure as hell don't want my son to emulate him. I just want him to catch footballs and get control of his ego.

It's awesome to think you're great...that can be positive, but it's bullshit when you can't control your emotions and hurt your team.
