Anyone else a little worried?
Tommorrow we have a big game against Atlanta. Winning this game would definitely help punch our ticket to the show, and set us up nicely for a showdown with the Raiders. However, thats my concern... We are going to be playing a brutal game I am assuming with the Falcons, and then 3 days later be playing vs the Raiders. Sure we are at home, but we have been on the road ALOT, and are coming off a big, exhausting 5 quarter win vs the broncos last week. We have traveled, traveled and traveled some more these past few weeks.
Raiders are coming off 3 home games, and will have time after Sunday's game at home to rest up and then make the final trip out to us, while we will still be gearing up to leave Atlanta and settling back into our home.... Sure our game is in KC, but it almost feels like the NFL really fucked us on this mini 4-5 day stretch of 2 games. |
Maclin out.

Don't get your hopes up.
Atlanta at home. Chiefs are coming off an overtime game on the road. Atlanta is pretty good, too. |
Your point about the timing doesn't make a lot of sense. The Raiders won't have any more time at home between games than the Chiefs since they have to travel to KC.
As for the rest, I'm guessing we lose to Atlanta and beat the Raiders, but if we lose both, we're still in a pretty good spot to at least make the playoffs. |

They're the tale of two teams bud, much like KC. |
Time to put their big boy pants on, or wear the skirt.
No.. I'm not worried. The world will keep on a spinning, and wfb either way. Will be fun to see how it goes. KC has a real shot here to get hot as they head towards the finish line. The injuries are discouraging, but it's not too late.. not even if they drop this Falcons game. Then again, I'm not one to believe KC must have HFA to win it all. So... |
Good thing thing Smith doesn't get nervous when the game is on the line and isn't a wuss like OP
|
I'm worried about who is going to start the game day thread.

The disadvantages for playing on a short week are greater for the road team.

Beat Oakland and Denver, go at least 5-1 in the division (with a good chance at 6-0) and the rest will take care of itself.
Losing to Atlanta isn't a huge deal at all, but it would be nice to have this win just in case we do drop one to Oakland or Denver at Arrowhead. I think we're likely looking at an L this week. |

Just because a team has a down game doesn't mean they just didn't give a shit about winning that week. |

I was "worried" about the Tampa game. For this one I have no expectation of a win, so if it happens it will just be a pleasant surprise.
|
We'll be fine....

Chiefs will get their asses kicked tomorrow.

It's usually a challenge to win back-to-back road games. I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped one tomorrow. Winning two straight on the road in DEN and ATL would be a real accomplishment.

The Chiefs freaking rule at football
|
we can win any game
we can lose any game Every Chiefs fans should be worried about every game. Who knows what is going to happen. |
Why, would it matter?

I am not worried at all.
What I am is someone who has no idea at all about what is going to happen tomorrow. Just about every game this season has been a roller coaster ride ranging from visions of a super bowl appearance all the way down to the gut punch of 6O yrds or so of the sideways/drop it if you can passing offense in an entire half. There's only been a couple times this year that at half time I felt like they were the better team and should win. But somehow, at the end of the game they have more points than the other team. I won't be surprised at all if the Falcons win tomorrow, then again I won't be surprised if the Chiefs win. |
Could be a repeat of Pittsburgh

Ain't worried at all, SR's got this shit.

Don't turn over the ball and don't let any one of our defensive backs give up 208 yards and 2 TDs. Then we will be fine

Every week we should worry. From what we've seen from this team this year nothing is for sure.

Carolina was a pleasant surprise that most of us thought they would lose going in so who knows today? Either it will be a TB or Carolina or Pitt kinda game. Take your pick !!

This game is going to be hard to watch.

I ****ing despise TNF games. There is one silver lining. I don't think Derek Carr will be excited about the short rest when his finger is ****ed up.
|
I'm pretty confident well lose this one and it's ok

I just hope like hell we don't have to see Pioli's ****ing smug prick face. But if we can't cover Benjamin or Evans, I have no idea how we're going to cover Julio. |
This is the type game people say ASS11 can't win. A high scoring team on the road is something you have to get done it the playoffs. This is a make or break game for him.
