Sully 07-01-2016 11:24 AM

Graves may not be eligible.

Spott 07-01-2016 12:03 PM

6-6 at best. Haven't been this pessimistic about the football program since Kirk Farmer was the starting QB.

Mizzou_8541 07-01-2016 03:10 PM

I lol'd at "Ethiopia Dennis."

Perfectly well played. Côte d'Ivoire Dennis would have been much too obvious.

Chad Dennis probably wouldn't work, either, but The Gambia Dennis has a certain ring to it.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 10:20 AM

Two drives, nine plays, one first down, 25 yards. No passes over the middle.

TribalElder 09-03-2016 10:22 AM

This does not look promising so far

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 10:32 AM

Damn. That took some courage for Lock to stand in and take that shot. He almost hit it, too.

Red Dawg 09-03-2016 10:33 AM

We got this

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 10:41 AM

They're running everything to the A gap between the center and right guard. and killing us.

Titty Meat 09-03-2016 10:42 AM

This school kills more dogs than Vick **** them

nychief 09-03-2016 10:42 AM

Need to adjust on offense.

Spott 09-03-2016 10:44 AM

Maybe they can protest the whole season.

nychief 09-03-2016 10:44 AM

running game looks good.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 10:51 AM

Mizzou is starting a walk-on opposite Harris, Beckner is running with the twos, and neither Nate Howard nor Josh Moore is on the two-deep.

They're running right at Harold and Hatley.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 10:57 AM

We use the middle of the field and pick up 25 yards on a slant and then another 13. Just sayin'.

And Crockett gets stripped. Piss ****.

nychief 09-03-2016 11:01 AM

Undisciplined

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 11:01 AM

Where the **** was the PI?

Horse shit

kcpasco 09-03-2016 11:06 AM

Crockett has to do a better job of protecting the ball, that was careless.

kcpasco 09-03-2016 11:35 AM

LMAO WVU QB

OMG and Mizzou screwed the pooch on that.

petegz28 09-03-2016 11:36 AM

this team is a pile of crap

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 11:38 AM

When will offensive coordinators realize that every time you call a fade route you are automatically throwing into triple coverage?

petegz28 09-03-2016 11:41 AM

ball on the 7 and you can't even get 3.....yeah MU still has no QB and no line

kcpasco 09-03-2016 11:43 AM

I'm not expecting this team to be good this year so I'm just watching for improvement. They have guys open they just aren't finishing.

Might want to practice tackling

Yeah, watched MU come up empty from the 7 yard line, not tackle, and getting whipped 20-3.....you got a point somewhere?

petegz28 09-03-2016 12:13 PM

wow,,,guy running wide open and missed him by 5 yards

Did Drew Lock call two runs into a stacked box and a fade route? Did Lock put a linebacker on a slot receiver. Is he the interior line getting blown off the ball?

He's not been Aaron Rodgers, but to say we've got no QB is just pure pete.

kcpasco 09-03-2016 12:15 PM

Receivers are dropping passes all day so it's equal in blame.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 12:19 PM

Think about this for a second. In the last year:

Andy Bauer ****, retires from football
AJ Harris, ****, has been injured and ineffective
Marquise Doherty, ****, transferred
Chase Abbington, ****, transferred
Walter Brady, Freshman AA, kicked off the team
Harold Brantley, who would have been a 1st rounder if not for his car wreck, flunks out of school
Nate Crawford, starting OL, retires from football
Clay Rhodes has personal issues and retires from football.

You can't lose that much talent in a year. This was never going to be a good team.

ping2000 09-03-2016 12:28 PM

Maybe if your coach let them have guns.

BryanBusby 09-03-2016 12:36 PM

Sorry but I didn't buy the OCoordinator change hype and really don't think they upgraded.

The talent is shit from bad recruits and departures and this job is probably too much for a first time coach.

petegz28 09-03-2016 12:42 PM

pass should have been caught but it should have been a better pass too

kcpasco 09-03-2016 12:42 PM

Trying to catch passes with your face usually doesn't work.

Red Dawg 09-03-2016 12:43 PM

Mizzou is going to lose every game in the SEC.

Prison Bitch 09-03-2016 12:44 PM

Why was this game scheduled?

petegz28 09-03-2016 12:57 PM

LMAO this team is just yeah...might wanan find someone who knows how to kick FG's

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 01:00 PM

God, I hate kickers.

Anyone is an upgrade from Henson. The offense has not been good, but they have a total of three starts on the OL coming into this game and the WRs can't catch anything. That's going to make any offense look bad.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-03-2016 01:13 PM

God, I miss the 2013 WR corps.

Mizzou_8541 09-03-2016 02:20 PM

How many drops did J'mon Moore have? Catch the ****ing ball.

I said talent had a lot to do with it in that post, but the playcalling and design also isn't very inspiring.

Mid-3, but I remember duncan saying absolutely glowing things about him around 2014.

Between the poor recruiting classes of 2012 and 2013 and the mass exodus of talent from 2014 and 2015, it's going to take years to rebuild this program.

GloryDayz 09-03-2016 07:27 PM

Wow... Tough times at MIZZOU. I'm very sorry Drew picked MIZZOU over his other offers.

BryanBusby 09-10-2016 07:27 PM

Lock would be maybe the best QB in the SEC if we could protect him against better opponents.

Pretty strong half for him tonight.

Mosbonian 09-10-2016 07:29 PM

Mizzou up 33-7 at Halftime and Lock has 289 yards passing in the first half.

Johnson has 108 yards receiving with an 87 yard TD catch and a punt return for a TD in the first half.

Obviously I'm very biased (VERY!!!), but he should be playing for a better college and hopefully on Sundays in a couple of years.

petegz28 09-10-2016 08:04 PM

did the switch channels again? It was supposed to be on the SEC Network but was on ESPNU then switched to ESPN News

Too many dropped balls here in the last couple of series.

petegz28 09-10-2016 08:55 PM

LMAO so now they are back on the SEC Network where they were supposed to be to begin with.....

Lock is finally getting it. His deep ball was looking great. The defense might be a concern though.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-11-2016 12:28 AM

Offense has moved the ball better in both games than in any other game last year. Yes, Eastern Michigan is a bad MAC team and one of the worst teams in DI, but Mizzou was having problems putting up 30 against SEMO last year.

The DL is a real issue this year, and if Cross keeps putting Newsom on wide receivers this defense is going to get butt****ed.

'Hamas' Jenkins 09-13-2016 02:18 PM

Mizzou has made multiple offers to players in Los Angeles and New Jersey.

Seems like Odom really wants to expand the recruiting base of the team. I'm a fan.

Lock was as big a part of Lock's failures last year as his supporting cast.

Mizzou hasn't done anything to set him up to fail. He's getting some weapons around him and will get an opportunity to use them.

Missouri's been as good as any school in the country when it comes to developing quarterbacks for the last decade+.

Pitt Gorilla 09-13-2016 02:33 PM

I was going to post this last week but forgot. There was an article (or post or something) on PowerMizzou last week with some detail regarding Sterk's plan for athletics at Mizzou. It was an incredible read and appeared to be a complete 180 from what Mack had "done" in his year. It appears that Odom wants the south end zone done, so the south end zone is now a priority, etc.

Yeah, and with the $10 million from the KC Sports Trust, it's going to get fast-tracked.

It is really amazing how incompetent Rhoades was. Him leaving was an absolute godsend for the University.

The worst thing you can ever do if you're incompetent is quit your job.

It'll take about 2 weeks for people to realize just how shitty you were at it.

An AD's job is so nebulous that it's hard to really identify exactly all the ways one of them can suck at it while they're still doing it. Then when somebody comes in right behind them and accomplishes in 2 weeks what his predecessor couldn't in 14 months, the picture clears up a bit.

Rhoades made us miss Alden. I will always hate him for that...

I hope you're right, but I still think the "college" is a mess. I wish, and suspect, inside, he wishes that he was playing for a college that's not an utter mess.

As for the rest, I hope you're right.

But I'm exceedingly biased.

We're an illegal substitution from a lead here. That really stunk.
