So far, we have the "good" version of Duffy and Morales.

Whit looks like he's going to be here a while. Has anyone suggested that he should hitting #1?

And why is Omar playing? It seemed like he had been effectively phased out.

No Eibner, so Dyson goes to left, Whit goes to 3rd (from 2nd), Omar gets 2nd. They are quite literally running out of players.

Agreed on both accounts. Merrifield is faster, more selective at the plate, and gets on more. I feel if this keeps up during the road trip, the move should happen (though we know Ned won't do it).

This Merrifield kid is looking like a good keeper. I know it's small sample size, but he looks like he passes the eye test.

And Omar is even hitting now.

Omar can grab some bench.

Well, players do need some days off in between, so I'm guessing Cheslor is getting his day off today and I would guess Merrifield will get his tomorrow. Again, just a guess.

Butera is so much better at the plate this year.

I don't know what Butera did on his offseason, but it looks like he did something different, and it's having a positive effect on his offensive game.

Archer has been solid for 3 years straight. Having a bit of a rough go to start the year.

And as long as they are generally winning, probably not a chance in hell Ned takes Esky from the leadoff.

Man, everyone appears to be locked in.

His home/away split is very extreme.

Aw, Whit missed that hanging slider.

Ned has two pennants and a World Series that had Esky at the top of the lineup. No matter how much sense it doesn't make, it would take a meteor to Kauffman Stadium to get Esky out of that position in the lineup.

Wow, the Royals are on a tear, what a great May, usually our worst month I think. Let's keep this hot streak on as long as we can, and then get hot again after the All-Star game and hot again in October. It's the Royals way!

And Morales is looking pretty good now, lots of walks, I'll take it.

In his first game, he got his 1st RBI off Wade Davis. Kinda weird.

I actually think he's gotten a lot better. This interview was pretty clear.
