This movie looks so awesome. It's funny because I just got around to seeing Winter Soldier.

Cap in that last clip looked straight up Hulk angry.

wow, that was better than I expected.

Also worthy of note is as of now (characters we know are in the film) team Cap is at a severe disadvantage (if the Black Panther stays Team-Tony as is indicated in the trailer.)

My guess is the moment that would make Hillary go moister-than-an-oyster is Spidey showing up at some point and tipping the scales...pro Cap.

And on a side note a team-Tony loss would give even more motivation to (Thunderbolt) Ross to become the Rulk.

(Apparently used by Marvel writers to describe the "replacement Hulk" which, probably due a lack of creativity, became the Red Hulk .)

Scarlet Witch though..

Depending how she is written in the movie, she can balance the scales big time. I also wonder if Vision would be in the movie, probably team Iron Man.

In the comics, Spider-Man was originally team Tony. He even revealed his secret identity to the world on national television.

He later defected.

I am interested how Crossbones will be weaved into the movie. It could be toward the beginning or be toward the end to create some kind of unifying cause to bring the heroes back together.

Haven't been following lately, but if the rumors about Evans wanting to get out are true/relevant, now would be the perfect time.

And personally, I don't see the need to spoiler events from a comic book that have been out for years. The MCU doesn't strictly follow anyway. If it did, the question wouldn't be asked.

Hell, the NY Times did an article on Captain America's death in 2007. And no I'm not spoiler tagging. Captain America is dead. At least in one of the millions of Marvel universes. Personally I hope they give the role to Bucky. Give Captain America a little bit of tarnish. Someone with a but of a tortured sole.

I imagine part of it is the govt wanting to prosecute Bucky and Cap saying F that. There is also the issue of the superhero registration act (called the Sokovia Accord in the trailer) that Cap is against because he hates the gubment and Iron Man is for it, so that adds to the friction between the two. That act was the impetus for the entire Civil War storyline in the comics.

You have two possible replacements in Bucky and Falcon. I would prefer Bucky as well.

So Sokovia is replacing the Stamford Incident? Not sure how I feel about that. Makes sense, and fits with the more global approach. Still, was kind of hoping to see Penance.

The comics didn't touch on this but given Cap's experience in WWII, he would be vary wary of the government registering people.

Also.. Bucky/Winter Soldier killed Stark's parents.

I'd prefer Bucky....but you know they'll give it to Falcon because of the diversity aspect.

Keep Falcon as the aerial sidekick since he's a pretty cool character in his own right. No need to eliminate what makes him cool by pidgeonholing him into an existing character model.

I do like they put some red and white into Falcon's costume instead of sticking with the all black look.

Winter soldier killed black panthers father too. Starks parents also. Black widow had previous issues also.

So with what looks like winter soldier ripping out arc reactors and not seeing crossbones in this trailer, does anybody think we will see the bleeding edge armor before the end of the movie?

bucky and cap beating stark's ass at the end is pretty awesome, everything else... meh

Still. Cap's a super soldier and Bucky was given a similar serum. They could take a blast or two to he chest and survive.

Shit, Blonsky got SWAT team kicked in the chest by the Hulk in the same universe and he fully healed in a matter of hours. Blonsky was given the same serum Cap was.

On top of that Hydra inflitrated the **** out S.H.I.E.L.D. in Winter Solider. Can you imagine what kind of havoc they could wreck if they get their hands on the list of registered superheroes?

They could put up a fight before he kicked their ass, but I'm almost positive his suit is malfunctioning in some way in that clip.

I still think I would have waited till after Infinity Wars to do Civil War, but I think CW is going to be a huge platform for Spidey to save the day.

Comic fans will splooge over spiderman in the MCU. I know I will.

Stark has wanted to throw an ass whoopin on Cap from day one too, though.

I could give two shits about Spiderman at this point, even if he is in the MCU.
