Mojo! #yostseason

Como vs Alnorth.
There can only be one. |
Mods please delete thread.
thanks. |
This is the One True Thread.
|
Al North sits through 100s of Royals games carefully curating each thread. He deserves the postseason game threads. CoMo is being a pain in the ass intentionally.

You've lost my respect. You have no imaginary rights. Al has the imaginary rights. |
everyone needs to come over to my thread and post as it's the first original game 2 thread.

CoMo has a micropenis. Poor guy.

Why the hell are the 2 AL games earlier than the NL? KC has a late game tonight, then must play a game 2 before the NL teams play their games.
What the hell is this shit? |

Are you drunk? Or just being a dick for your own amusement?
You started game one. You lost. The unwritten rules say, **** you. You know that. Mojo rules, beeyotch. |
One thing is for sure: we must all come together before tomorrow's game.
Oh yeah. We have a lotta pressure. We gotta rise above it. We gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. Feel the flow. |

Are you drunk or are you just being a dick? Seems like you're the one doing all of the insulting. |

Cueto's got this tomorrow.

If the Royals win (and assuming the mods delete the other garbage), alnorth has to make every thread from here on. Even if they aren't updated, wtf cares. No bigger Royals fan on this board.

Are you some sort of Puritan sent forward in time? Do you deny yourself all earthly pleasures? |
You know what is really sad, CoMo has posted more in this thread than entire game thread from Game 1.

Como is the reason the gene pool needs a lifeguard

CoMo logged out so that he could stand out in center field and tip pitches for the Astros in game 1.

The game was over when this thread was made. I was busy watching the game with a couple friends so I wasn't online but for maybe a few mins throughout the night...what were you doing? |

I'm for having a temporary ban on CoMo. He posted the thread at exactly 12:00am, to be a wise guy, after losing game one. Bad mojo.
Everyone knows what ever CoMo touches or predicts turns into a loss. |
Stop it.

I'm for having a temporary ban on Silock, too. [emoji23][emoji97]

Not you. CoMo.

Especially someone who follows so many GDT's. You know the playoff thread etiquette. And if you don't, ask. I did. Not you though. Good night Sir! |

Congrats for you asking though. I really don't care enough to ask. Nor is it not that big of a deal to begin with. Love to watch CP members freak out over some of the dumbest shit. LMAO |

In for the season saving win, but probably booted before 1st pitch.
|
I fear if we don't win this game we go out quietly. We better win this! We have an ace going against a pitcher who has been absolute garbage for a while now . There is no reason to lose. I am confident we knock Kazmir out early but we better score the knockout runs before they get a chance to pull him.
They really shouldn't be starting him, honestly. I am thinking they feel pressure to do it since they traded for him mid season. |
Go ROYALS
**** the CoMosexuals thread |

My apologies for the loss. I'll take the blame for that last night. Will make up for it at game 2. I got this one!

Wow I thought we were eliminated last night.
A new hope...... |
We need good Johnny Cueto now more than ever
|
This is probably obvious, but if we lose this game, we're toast.

Huge game today.
Today is the reason the Royals traded for Johnny Cueto. If he pitches as he is capable of pitching and brings home a win, I think you can forget about/forgive the stumble in August. Win today, and the series becomes manageable again. You're probably going down 2-1 in Houston in Game 3, with Keuchel on the mound, but with Ventura in Game 4 and Cueto again in Game 5, KC will be set up to put its best foot forward. Side note, somewhat related to Cueto: I noticed a few pitches yesterday where Ventura seemed to be experiencing the same problem that Cueto had with Perez ... Perez would call for a pitch low-and-away, then not move his glove to that spot until after Ventura started his wind-up, with the ball ending up in the spot his glove was in before he moved it. Could be random, but I do wonder how many pitchers are bothered by that. |
On pinetar press or royals review there was analysis showing the heart of the Astros order was very good at hitting curveballs, but way below average at hitting four seam fastballs. A lot of the singles in the first yesterday were against Ventura's curve.

Astros look better in every way. :( |

I guess we will find out very soon if they will start playing with some urgency and passion again. |
Quote:
We don't have that small ball edge anymore. We're now the idiot team that tries to swing for the fences every pitch instead of just worrying about getting dudes on base pushing them along through bunts, sacrifices, and steals. And then we throw our arms up in exasperation when a good outfield catches our shit when we put it in play. It's exactly why if Cueto isn't nails tonight, we're ****ing toast. Even with Kazmir's struggles, the Astros still have one hell of an edge both in play on the field and in terms of the Royals needing to win 3 of the next four.. |
Quote:
What playoff/WS game did we win with small ball? We won the LDS with the long ball. |
I'm against 5-game series. I'd rather not have the WC games, and all 7-game series. If you lose game one, it makes it so difficult. Now you have to win 3 of 4.
I would imagine, we were at 57% to win the series before it started, now we are probably at 22%. Just because of one game. |

I still think the Astros are making a mistake in starting Kazmir. I know he has done well against us in the past but I don't think he is Danks.
I am wondering if part of their decision is based on the fact that they traded for him and feel like he has to get a start. I am glad they are doing it though because I think we will get him out of there quickly and up big. |
time for Cueto to show his worth ... to this I have little faith
