Most anything fried tastes amazing. That said, I don't find that onion rings go well as a side so I rarely ever eat them.

Bates City BBQ in its day was pretty good for rings. The blooming vadelia onion at Texas Road house was good. It looks like the onion in the ring at Brgr is too big for my liking.
