The investigation started with the arrest of the foundation's Executive Director Russell Taylor in April for child pornography charges. FOX59 reported that a raid of Taylor's home found more than 500 child pornography videos. Investigators haven't said if the raid of Fogle's home is connected to Taylor's arrest.

Well, in fairness to formerly fat boy, he hasn't been formally charged with anything yet. The director of his foundation was arrested for Child Porn in April. I'm just interested in the story for the ad blowback. It'll be interesting to see how quickly Subway distances themselves from this guy, and how they handle the spin.

Is this guilt by association? Of course they would question Jared and most everyone involved.

They took his computers and stuff from his house, so it is above questioning. The only thing to wonder is if the other guy is throwing out names just in hopes of getting a lighter sentence for himself.

Nowhere does it say if he is the target of the investigation. It does say that someone associated with his foundation was busted so it could be that he has laptops or whatever in his home from the foundation that they want to see.

Is nobody going to mention the fact that he's kind of a creepy looking guy? I mean...if you didn't know anything about the guy, and someone showed you his picture and said he was a pedophile...would you be shocked, or would you say, "yeah, that looks about right"?

I've always known there was something off about the dude since day one. I really won't be too surprised if the FBI find what they're looking for. I heard the ex-director of the charity tried to kill himself in jail and nearly succeeded.

When I first read this post I thought well big deal just doing the police work. But after the FBI made a raid and to come at him like they did must be pretty good reason. Also I am sure a judge had to sign off on a search and seizure so must be a reasonable cause for all.

In this case it doesn't matter. You may think you can score a debate point by comparing child pornography with gay marriage, but your comparison fails. One involves a defenseless victim, and the other is a legal contract between two consenting adults.

Pretty much. Subway distanced themselves from Jared. It'll cost Subway a little to fix their reputation, but unless they're linked to the crime itself, nobody's going to look bad on Subway. There are spokespeople around the world and a lot of them get caught doing some pretty crazy stuff. It's not like Subway is the first.
