I'll watch just for Murray. I've loved just about everything he's done as he's grown older. St. Vincent was great.

That looked....unimpressive. This is likely one of those movies that would have gone straight to DVD if Murray hadn't been in it.
|
OK, now that I've seen the trailer I am totally in. More for the cast than the actual trailer/plot.
|
Looks promising to me.

Yeah I know it's a little scattered. This could be a good thing as I have seen trailers that looked awesome but turned out to be bombs.
|
I don't know I think it could be funny. I'll wait to see what the reviews are like but I am intrigued by the trailer.
|
Wheres Iron Man?
|
NEVER judge a movie by it's trailer.
Still a rental for me though. Next movie I see at the theater is Star Wars. |
Just watched. Much better than the reviews. I actually enjoyed.

Bill Murray's a guy you either really like or just can't stand.
I enjoyed him as Carl Spackler in Caddyshack. Not really a fan of most of the stuff he's starred in though. Some of his stories of interacting w/ general public and his fans are kinda funny. "Renting movies at Blockbuster" I was working at Blockbuster in the Poconos late one night. The CSR on duty was in the back getting stuff to re-stock the snack shelves when, all of a sudden, Bill Murray walked in. The store was completely silent, since I had already turned off the overhead TVs, and was empty except for the two of us. So he walked around for about 2 minutes and eventually came up to the counter with Caddy Shack and Ghostbusters. “Which one do you suggest?” he asked me completely serious, as if he had never heard of the two films. I looked at him bewildered for a moment than said “Ghostbusters… it’s a classic…” He reached over the counter, unlocked the magnetic lock on the case, deactivated the security strip, then grinned and walked out of the store before I could even react. I ran to the door after him and, before getting into his car, he turned around for a moment and mouthed to me “No one will ever believe you”. Find more here: http://www.billmurraystory.com/ . |
