No doubt that is great musicianship. If I may, and just my 'personal/selfish opinion, and no disrespect intended. I'd try that just 'slightly' slower.

Again, if I may. I feel the Porcupine Tree for sure. But they are more engaging due to tempo. For me.

Pretty cool that you guys have found Porcupine Tree in the A Light Within stuff considering none of the guys in the band are into P-TREE except for myself (vocals). Steven Wilson is one of my heroes.

That said; here is a brand new track with another project I just drafted up that is a LOT more P-Tree influenced.

Hehe, yeah! I've gotten the Peter Steele comparison quite a bit with the track Between Shores. Honestly I've never been a Type-O fan, nor enjoy listening to Steele's style. That Bass-Baritone lower register is common in my natural speaking voice, and I have been experimenting more and more using it in songs, but I'm still trying to use it tastefully, instead of ALL IN (so to speak).

Love it! Definitely hear a later period ISIS influence, but really that can be said about most bands in the genre. Looking forward to hearing more!

Well, it depends.

Music can be very technical which makes it good. (A Light Within is NOT technical)

Music can create a sense of atmosphere that develops a certain mood which can also make it good. (This is what I hope to pull off).

Regardless, it's still all just based on subjective taste. Everyone looks for different things in what they like.

Listening to the album now, love how it transitions song to song. Not enough attention is paid to that these days.

The elements of Doom in Between Shores draw my attention the most. Too early to say definitively that it's my favorite though.

I've now decided that Glaso is my favorite.

Nice! Maybe you noticed some little things you hadn't heard before. I stuck some fun samples in the Breakdown of Glaso like the sound of writing on paper, a referee whistle, church bells, and pouring a beer.

Listened to the CD in my car on the way to work this morning. Can't remember the last time I listened to a CD in my car. Looking forward to the release of the remix of Preface.

Our label has submitted us for Spotify. Awaiting the approval.
We are on iTunes now. (Approval for that takes forever too)
These were submitted awhile ago, but we went back and forth with issues on the track names...

Apparently these services do NOT like the # or _ in our track titles.

We don't have a large enough fanbase in the US right now to just head out on the road and book our own tour dates.

Requests for live dates are coming in weekly through our facebook page. We are really hoping that a label (like Prosthetic) finds us and wants us to join up on a small leg of tour with one of their bands. With someone who will draw a nice crowd. We really need our fans to help spread the word so we can get some attention and get out on the road!

We are however going over really well in the EU, specifically the UK.
We would need some backing though in order to fly over there.

Great music man..really enjoyed it

A lot of what I listen to these days does well in Europe, with little following here in the States. I'd love to see a show with A Light Within, Pilgrim, and St Vitus.
