Don't know if this is true...but its been all over sports radio here in Texas.

5 times worse than Ray Rice? Is he eating a child?

penguinz 02-24-2015 03:44 PM

He should just become a pro boxer so he can beat the shit out of woman anytime he wants and still make millions and be worshiped by many ---- Floyd Mayweather, Jr

Posts a Seattle link.

He's beating an entire kindergarten class and then spit-roasting them one by one. On video. Pretty damning stuff.

I was leaning towards a racist tirade while beating up two pregnant women in front of cancer kids.

I'm excited for this video!

Nickel D 02-24-2015 03:55 PM

After he's released, bring him in for a look. He'd make a great decoy 40 yards up field so Smiff can perform his classic check-downs.

Smiff can't throw it 40 yards. Fixed

Not sure that's the point...

Hootie 02-24-2015 04:12 PM

Professional sports are littered with thugs with no IQs, especially the NFL and NBA.

I'm tired of hearing about it. I'm tired of TMZ, cell phone videos, and extortion attempts.

I know Bryant is a thug piece of shit, I don't care to see it on video. I do enjoy watching him play football, though.

KCrockaholic 02-24-2015 04:12 PM

Dez had a pretty bad past. I remember when he was going pro I saw some bad stories. Mainly parent issues though.

Hootie 02-24-2015 04:17 PM

Tired of middle to upper middle class men judging these inner city black kids ...

Of course, Joe $60K raised in a 2 parent home given excellent education, of course you don't relate to Dez Bryant, a kid who never had any direction, guidance, education and was given millions of dollars and has the IQ of a 9 year old

I'm sure he did something tragic and disgusting. I don't expect a whole lot, though ... kid never had a chance. Just cuz some of these guys "make it" doesn't mean a thing. This kid has had the deck stacked against him his whole life. It was only a matter of time...

Iowanian 02-24-2015 04:19 PM

If there is a video and it's showing something so terrible, they should turn it into police, not hold out for a check from a scuzzy website.

And yet the fans do care, and the NFL can't take any more press on this, so what your opinion (which I dont' really disagree with) is irrelevant.

I think the Adrian Peterson punishment is grossly disproportionate, but what I think doesn't matter either.

As someone who came from a ****ed up background similar to Dez's: Bullshit

Complete bullshit.

We live in a country where we're constantly exposed to success and moral high ground. You don't need parents to teach right and wrong anymore. Society does it well enough for anyone who's willing to give a shit.

I've lived with troubled teens and even worked in a Juvenile court school and have seen enough to know better than to buy into that line of "victim" bullshit.

I know, just tired of it.

I mean, Dez can only blame Dez but I'm tired of this billionaire NFL notion that these poverty risen kids should know any better ... because how could they?

They're just scapegoats. And now, when Dez is the new face of MONSTER, we get a whole new media circus of hate for a kid who never had a chance in the world.

Here's an idea, stop letting these kids go to college if they can't qualify academically like everyone else. Make them work to get their shot at the pros rather than enrolling kids who read like fifth graders so you can line your school's pockets by allowing these shenanigans to continue.

Make them go to community college and prove they will work to get into those big time schools so they can get those big time pay days. You take these poor, uneducated kids, help them cheat through fake classes, put them on a pedestal...they graduate to the pros and suddenly we expect them to be wise, educated professionals?

Give me a break.

You don't need to be a wise, educated professional to know you shouldn't be decking bitches in the mouth, or any other reeruned ass behavior.

It's a ****ing excuse and it irks the **** out of me when people play the "poor, poverty" card.

That's fine, I don't even disagree. I was raised to never hit a woman and I never would. It's common sense. I just don't care about watching athletes do it and then getting enraged because they're "celebrities."

**** it. Put a clause in all NFL contracts. Any domestic dispute conviction or one ending in a ridiculous settlement means no more NFL, ever. From now on. No matter what. No excuses.

If they keep hitting women knowing that, then, lol ... see ya.

Here's the thing:

I think about it all the time, "why didn't i grow up to make the same mistakes my dad or any of the people i was surrounded by made"?

The only conclusion i can draw is that i had people like teachers, counselors, etc who believed in me; had faith in me and encouraged me. It didn't come from family or my peers.

So when i think of Dez Bryant, someone with his talent, there is NO ****ING WAY he didn't have a group of people who supported him outside of his family. Between coaches, teachers, youth program counselors, etc and anyone else who may have had an interest in him.... there is simply no ****ing way that he didn't get enough support and advice to know better than to make piss-ass choices. That's the society we live in today.

Did he gave a **** enough to care or listen? The support was there. I have little doubt in my mind about that.

Now if someone hears it and chooses to ignore it.....that's a problem with that person....not the hardships his life brought him.

MTG#10 02-24-2015 04:53 PM

Im not giving him or any other troubled black kid growing up with no and/or worthless parents a free pass, but to claim growing up that way is no excuse at all is ridiculous. Just because some of them have extraordinary athletic abilities it doesn't erase everything they've gone through.

It's simply not an excuse. There are far too many outside influences in a young man's life these days to plead ignorance.

Pro Sports are loaded with athletes with checkered childhoods that don't make such piss-ass choices.

You can't sit here and act like he doesn't know any better.

You're going to absolutely give him a free pass once you hear what they're saying now.

Apparently, the 1st graders he urinated on in the video went to this school.

Especially a guy like him who has probably been a star athlete since at least Jr. high.

Did you have kids that begged you not to send them back home? In the place I worked at that dealt with adjudicated youth, it was more common then not to have the kid not want to return to the home environment. I remember 1 kid that was from Chicago telling me that "They'll kill me if you send me back. I've already got 1 contract out on my head, and if I refuse to join back up with the gang I was in, I'll have 2." Some make it out of those types of upbringing (apparently you are 1 of those, and I commend you for that). However, most don't. No easy answers

I was one of those kids who begged not to go home. That's how i wound up in a group home. The therapist evaluated me and came to the conclusion that i was just being a "rebelious teen", despite my myriad of horror stories, my father's criminal history and substance abuse.

I was in awe after the therapist came to that conclusion. How anyone could come to that conclusion after what i shared was unbelievable and i refused to go home and back into that mess.

When it comes to "escaping" the gang life, it's a bit embellished. There is ALWAYS a way.

In order for me to move forward, i COMPLETELY erased my past @ age 15. Different city, ditched my GF, no family and made a whole new set of friends an hour away from where i grew up. It's plenty doable if that person is WILLING to do it.

And if your home life is so awful, then you'd probably be motivated enough to do it.

There's simply too many resources out there for troubled youth as long as you're willing to do it.

BossChief 02-24-2015 05:11 PM

Hootie really is this foolish, huh?

JFC man. Gimme a break. I bet half of NFL black players came from troubled homes and situations. Doesn't mean they still do it when they get to be 26 year old millionaires.

BTW, do you believe me about this now?

It has an effect, certainly. To this day i wonder how different i would be had I had a different upbringing.

But no, i don't believe it's enough to condemn you to repeatedly making extremely poor choices over and over again.

He was left mostly alone with his two younger brothers......at age 14 they left home and joined the group home.

I think the degree of how ****ed up your childhood was plays some role in how well you overcome it. A LOT of NFL players had a troubled upbringing, but I doubt many had as bad of one as Dez Bryant. Is he a dumbass? For sure. Is it understandable to a certain extent? For sure.

Not an expert at this stuff, and certainly haven't lived it as I was brought up in a great family setting, BUT it seems to me that some of those kids out there simply may not have the skill set to figure out how to get out of a horrific environment. From what Detox is saying, apparently there are programs available to help. Just wonder if some of those kids just simply don't have the mental/emotional capability to figure it out. VERY TOUGH SITUATION.

Does anyone have a clue as to what's on Bryant's tape? I'm not seeing much so far.

I do remember someone saying that in the Cowboys organization. There was a report that was out like 2 months ago saying that they learned Dez did something and it was 10 times worse than just being kicked off the team.

There is a Dallas blog that said sources are consistently saying it's a domestic dispute, and it happened on Walmart surveillance. On my phone so can't link now but should be easy to find on Google news. Seemed like a level-headed piece that said there's no proof anything exists but that's at least what the rumbling is.

According to @caplannfl, it is "less certain" that Jeremy Maclin re-signs with the #Eagles now because he switched agents."

Why does anyone go into a Wal-Mart?

Hootie 02-25-2015 01:16 PM

Jerry is probably in a bidding war with some yo-yo from TMZ. I bet Jerry wins this one, and it will be great for contract leverage, too.

"Hey Dez, this is what you're going to sign, or this video is going to go to the wrong people, and you're not going to get another contract from anyone!"

Who are the good guys anymore?

Nightfyre 02-25-2015 01:23 PM

Dez would also be trying to buy it as well, I am sure.

Looking for a job that will support him and his 3 kids when he's banned from football.
