I stayed out of Jail this christmas!
 

I have been really working on staying out of trouble. I was able to save some money by staying out of jail. Usually I am bailing myself or someone else out of jail on christmas. Finally a day to save money!

It is really hard to save money to put in my 401k if I am constantly in jail. You can't gain in skills at work. You can't work overtime. So it is really hard to money in my IRA when I am in jail.

I found out the hard way that they don't serve nachos in jail.

This is true. However, there is usually a big greasy guy in there named Nacho. He's not very nice.

I think the main thing is that my parents weren't visiting me in the hospital or in the jail.

Anyone drinking already?

Well....I wasn't going to but since you think it's probably the right thing to do I'll go ahead and start.

I think so Rain Man. All I know is 4 years ago I was eating canned turkey. and I said enough is enough and I reached out and got help. Now I haven't been in jail or soiled myself in awhile!

We have to hear this story. ..

I think the most important thing is to make a plan one day at a time to stay busy and not do something crazy. I have plenty of crisis hotlines to call if I am in trouble. Lots of times people will call me to do some drugs and shoot craps at like midnight or so but I have to stay focused on my goal and sometimes that requires to go through some boredom.

Pro Tip: unless you did some real shit they can/usually only hold you for a day and bounce you. Sit your 20 hours and save your money :shrug:
