The next 4 games
Since I did such a fantastic job in THIS THREAD calling the 6-3 record after the 49er loss, I figured I would offer my next 4 game prediction.
Vs Sea @ Oak Vs Den @Ari Strangely enough the game I'm most confident about is the Seattle game. I think Seattle isn't playing very good ball right now. That coupled with the Chiefs being on a roll and at home I think we go to 7-3. The next three I'm not so sure. All of them are beatable teams I just get this feeling that we only come out of this stretch 8-5. Oakland could be very dangerous if they don't pick up a win before then. Denver is Denver, game could go either way if the Chiefs can play ball control offense they have a good shot to win. Arizona looks tough. But as of this writing the Rams D is dominating 'Zona right now. |
SEA W
OAK W DEN W ARI L 3-1 Praying for more Donkey losses |

all wins. SUPERBOWL

If we are 9-4 after the next 4 it will take the entire Kleenex production capacity to clean up.

Oakland is complete shit. Zero chance we lose to them. |
Need 2 wins out of these then 2 out of the next batch
|
I wish I was as confident. Those guy manage to squeeze out 3 or 4 wins no matter how bad they are. I doubt they go 0-16, but I'd love to see it.

And Oakland, well, yeah... |
Seattle is going to drop 300 yards of rushing on us. Going to be ugly.

Seriously going to need more Mays next weekend.. and leave JMJ on the sidelines for base D.
|
2-2 is what we need to hope for at least. 3-1 would be tremendous.

Buffalo went full reerun by passing even though they were fisting us with the run. |
We are not beating SEA... stop it.

Well Palmer's done.
Arizona might be easier now |
every loss here on out will be huge, need to take care of business with the two against Oakland and find at least two more wins on top of that
|
I would love for 4 straight but I want Denver. BADLY
|
This is a home game I wish I could be at. This stadium will be crazy.
|
Yeah, Seattle is just not firing on all cylinders. Plus they're former division rivals, coming to Arrowhead, and everything is coming up Chiefs these days, so yes, we get a win. 7-3.
Oakland is Oakland. It's like playing a Community College. 8-3. At this point, most of the nation (and certainly the dopes on DC area sports talk radio) will call the Chiefs overrated and counterfeit, and say they "haven't beaten any quality teams". After the Chiefs lose to the Broncos, they'll all smugly look at each other and say, "See?" 8-4. Then the Chiefs lose to the Cardinals in Arizona, and all of the attention is on Arizona, and none on Kansas City. 8-5. Not that it's part of this thread, but our last three games are Oakland (again), Pittsburgh, and San Diego, which we'll run (December is a pretty rough time to be a Chargers fan). I figure we'll finish 11-5, or maybe 10-6 if we lose a heartbreaker, and get the number 5 Wild Card spot, which is pretty damn satisfying considering the 2-14's and 3-13's I saw in the prediction columns for our season just a few months ago. |

The Raiders game just four days later is somewhat troubling but if this team can go on the road and beat Buffalo, San Diego and Miami, they can beat Oakland. The Chiefs will be coming off 10 days rest to face Denver at Arrowhead on Sunday Night. While Denver is still playing well, they're the same team that the Chiefs had a chance to beat on the road in Week 2 and failed. They won't fail at Arrowhead. |

Carson Palmer just went down with a knee injury. Looked pretty bad.

I said that to my gf as the play was shown during the Giants/Seahawks game. Sucks for them. |

Palmer doesn't play defense.
Birds are playing well. They won games earlier with Palmer out. |

Lets just hope that Alex continues to prove that trend wrong. |

All we need to do is go 4-3 over the next 7 weeks and we should be a wild card.
|
We're going to gang rape Denver just like we did New England.
|
4-0 in this next stretch.
|
I don't see us going 4-0. Gonna drop one somewhere. Just don't know where. All are very winnable.

Don't really care where the wins and losses come from. |
Seattle is beatable. The Giants are trash on defense. Still not impressed with Sea. Raiders is a win. Don't know after that
|
SEA W
OAK L DEN W ARI L Because if anyone's going to lose to Oakland, it's the Chiefs. |

My take on the next 4 games
Seattle:I'm glad they are coming in to KC with a win. We need to come out fast and get them down early. Lynch is by far the best RB we have faced. Wilson can also rack up the yards. This is a game that's either going to be a slugfest or we win it big. Either way I like our chances. Oakland: LOL - Win, shit I'm more confident when we are on the road. Not worried about this one. Denver: Seriously, if we come into this game on a six game winning streak this game is going to be HUGE. It's a toss up. Can't wait to watch this on SNF. Arizona: I've always thought this was a win, but if we beat Denver I expect us to have a let down. |
Palmer is done. We're going 3-1 here.
|
I gotta' bad feeling about 'Zona.

Don't give a shit about the other 3 games, I just want to beat Denver.
That being said, we're going 3-1 or 4-0 in this stretch. Go 4-0 and we're hoping to avoid 13-3... |

Mebane just got a hamstring injury- that's going to really open up things for Charles in the middle. Best part is Hawks don't have a replacement for Mebane, it's him then a bunch of JAGs. |

So I just realized next week's game is a FOX broadcast game........and a decent chance that our good old friend Joe Buck might be back in town.
If this is the case....good people of KC....please prepare plenty of signage to tell this assclown he's not welcome in our town! |

Only a complete and utter moron would reference the first game of the season, which was clearly an anomaly, as evidence of how team will perform late in the season. Kudos. |
