The next 4 games

Since I did such a fantastic job in THIS THREAD calling the 6-3 record after the 49er loss, I figured I would offer my next 4 game prediction.

Vs Sea
@ Oak
Vs Den
@Ari

Strangely enough the game I'm most confident about is the Seattle game. I think Seattle isn't playing very good ball right now. That coupled with the Chiefs being on a roll and at home I think we go to 7-3.

The next three I'm not so sure. All of them are beatable teams I just get this feeling that we only come out of this stretch 8-5. Oakland could be very dangerous if they don't pick up a win before then. Denver is Denver, game could go either way if the Chiefs can play ball control offense they have a good shot to win. Arizona looks tough. But as of this writing the Rams D is dominating 'Zona right now.

Oakland is complete shit. Zero chance we lose to them.

And Oakland, well, yeah...

Seattle is going to drop 300 yards of rushing on us. Going to be ugly.

They've played better for Sparano and you're underestimating the toughness of an away Thursday night game. The away team has struggled pretty much since they started TNF.

Sandy Vagina 11-09-2014 05:44 PM

Seriously going to need more Mays next weekend.. and leave JMJ on the sidelines for base D.

Ragged Robin 11-09-2014 05:47 PM

every loss here on out will be huge, need to take care of business with the two against Oakland and find at least two more wins on top of that

Pushead2 11-09-2014 05:48 PM

I would love for 4 straight but I want Denver. BADLY

Mother****erJones 11-09-2014 05:48 PM

This is a home game I wish I could be at. This stadium will be crazy.

Aries Walker 11-09-2014 05:48 PM

Yeah, Seattle is just not firing on all cylinders. Plus they're former division rivals, coming to Arrowhead, and everything is coming up Chiefs these days, so yes, we get a win. 7-3.

Oakland is Oakland. It's like playing a Community College. 8-3.

At this point, most of the nation (and certainly the dopes on DC area sports talk radio) will call the Chiefs overrated and counterfeit, and say they "haven't beaten any quality teams". After the Chiefs lose to the Broncos, they'll all smugly look at each other and say, "See?" 8-4.

Then the Chiefs lose to the Cardinals in Arizona, and all of the attention is on Arizona, and none on Kansas City. 8-5.

Not that it's part of this thread, but our last three games are Oakland (again), Pittsburgh, and San Diego, which we'll run (December is a pretty rough time to be a Chargers fan). I figure we'll finish 11-5, or maybe 10-6 if we lose a heartbreaker, and get the number 5 Wild Card spot, which is pretty damn satisfying considering the 2-14's and 3-13's I saw in the prediction columns for our season just a few months ago.

Seattle is a very different team on the road than they are at home. The Chiefs should beat them at Arrowhead.

The Raiders game just four days later is somewhat troubling but if this team can go on the road and beat Buffalo, San Diego and Miami, they can beat Oakland.

The Chiefs will be coming off 10 days rest to face Denver at Arrowhead on Sunday Night. While Denver is still playing well, they're the same team that the Chiefs had a chance to beat on the road in Week 2 and failed.

They won't fail at Arrowhead.

My take on the next 4 games

Seattle:I'm glad they are coming in to KC with a win. We need to come out fast and get them down early. Lynch is by far the best RB we have faced. Wilson can also rack up the yards. This is a game that's either going to be a slugfest or we win it big. Either way I like our chances.

Oakland: LOL - Win, shit I'm more confident when we are on the road. Not worried about this one.

Denver: Seriously, if we come into this game on a six game winning streak this game is going to be HUGE. It's a toss up. Can't wait to watch this on SNF.

Arizona: I've always thought this was a win, but if we beat Denver I expect us to have a let down.

Hammock Parties 11-09-2014 07:48 PM

After glancing at their injury report I'm changing my tune. Really just depends on whether Kam and Wagner play.

Mebane just got a hamstring injury- that's going to really open up things for Charles in the middle. Best part is Hawks don't have a replacement for Mebane, it's him then a bunch of JAGs.

Heh, agreed. The magic number here is 4. 4 more wins to virtually guarantee a trip to the playoffs. Likely a wild card berth, but shit man, this division is still ours for the taking if we can beat Denver. I really don't see that happening (us winning the division even if we beat the Donkeys, which I think we will achieve) but I'm totally fine with a wild card playoff appearance. And a wild card playoff win. Because this is a team on the rise. Dorsey will make us better next year at WR, OG, and MLB. I am super happy with the direction he's taking us in.

I also firmly trust that he and Reid will draft a promising QB to sit for however long is necessary. Which means that ****ing EVERYONE here should be happy as a damn clam.
