Well, I pulled the trigger this am to the tune of $400 bones to take my 12 year old, baseball loving son to the game Sunday. We're gonna tailgate, toss a ball, etc. I know it's expensive as hell, but he won't be a kid forever, and I know neither of us will ever forget it. Who else is going?

I got 2 tickets for the game on Friday at Angles stadium. I paid out the A$$ for them but if I wait another 29 years to see the Royals in a playoff game I will just be dust in an urn.

I bought a 10 pack of games for my dad and I found the email for the ALDS presale in my junk email account about 90 minutes before it expired, two weeks ago or whenever that was.

So, I've been checking that all day and just got the ALCS email for tomorrow's presale.

Lots of loud thunderstorms and rain last night and today, the baseball gods are responding from last nights game obviously.

I'm looking at tickets now and just realized how poor I am. LMAO

If you're a gambler, try waiting until a couple hours before the game to hit Stubhub. You'll see some guys that were shooting for moon with max price drop down to whatever they can get.

I was kinda surprised they bumped it and didn't tell anyone...at least I never saw or heard anything about the parking prices being raised for the postseason anywhere.

Brother, it's JUST money. You really can't put a value on an experience like this. If you have the means, pull the trigger. This ain't Cards nation where I've heard fans turn down free prime tickets because "It's just an NLDS game".

I mean it when I say that I wish I had the cash to get you a ticket. I had a very nice person do that for me last year and it was an amazing feeling. If I could pay that forward right now, I'd absolutely do it.

The Royals have announced gate times and parking information for the American League Division Series game against the Los Angeles Angels at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, October 5. First pitch is scheduled for 6:37 p.m.

• Tollgates open at 1 p.m.
• Parking will be $15 (cash only)
• Stadium gates open at 4:30 p.m.
• Fans will need to present a ticket labeled 2014 ALDS Home Game #1 for admittance.

All this talk of ticket prices has me wanting to see the 2 I got for $44 each (yeah right).

I was part of the first group online who had issues a couple weeks ago buying tickets. The next day they called me and apologized and said, btw, if you're still interested we have some tickets set aside for people who had trouble online yesterday.

I said hell yes I still want tickets. Ended up not having to pay any of the fees I would have paid the day before. $88 for 2 uppers.

What is the game time for Monday? As far as I know, they haven't released the time yet.
