Revised: Bugeater & Dinny's Big Smokeout Chiefs Phins Game
1 Attachment(s)
Not much action on the Egg thing. Hijack in progress.
I think I'm going to this thing. I will be there early, hoping to soak up some smokin' knowledge. If there is anyone else going, perhaps I'll allow you to buy me a beer, provided your cards are properly played. http://outdoorhome.com/Big-Green-Egg...Springfield-MO |
Can't you find anything for the weekend that I am actually coming down there?

Was it the 20th? That's this Saturday.
If you are gonna make the scene, I'll throw something on the fire. Dinny |

I'm excited like a little school girl.

The phone died a valiant death tonight. It lived a good life.
Will talk to the better and get back. Posted via Mobile Device |

You need to make the scene on this one. Dinny |
Oh, my. Special guests.
I'll throw on a second slab. This could be a reasonably groovy little happening. HEY SAUTO!!!!!! Dinny |
We are checking on a sitter in the am.

If I can gather enough of a crowd, I'll throw on a brisket. My briskets make me want to do me now, if not sooner. Dinny |
Guest list update confirmed on the VIP.
It's no longer ribs. Brisket. Dinny |
I lied. No brisket. Ribs.
I am not going to be able to do a brisket this weekend. Ribs it is. A thousand pardons, Dinny |
Well I'll be.
Went to grocery. Spare ribs didn't look all that great. The baby backs were higher per lb. than the prime grade brisket. I found a beauty. Brisket it is. Dinny |
LMAO
|
I am also making a best good key lime pie.
A little 411 in case anyone needs to create some room for a cheat day. Dinny |
HEY SAUTO!!!!!!
Dinny |
I'm going full Madam Cleo here on some bacon horseradish deviled eggs. Made with real eggs from real chickens.
Anybody seen SAUTO? If you do, tell him to check his PMs. HEY SAUTO!!!! Dinny |
I have not seen him

Had a great time Dinny! Not only were you a fantastic host, you work that DVR remote like no other. I mean seriously, you were one with that thing. Sorry couldn't hang out after the game but I had to get that drive out of the way. Managed to stay shiny side up and got in a little after midnight.
|
Yeah but when's the Smokin' The Ozarks Bud Fest? That'll require the use of your Big Green Egg before it's over.
|
Thanks for the kind words, Bug, glad you made it home safely. I like the pause and FF for taking smoke breaks.
A thousand pardons on the brisket and deviled eggs. They needed more salt. Y'all should have said something instead of being polite. I'm a little salt-shy because my last two capers ( corned beef and a ham) wound up too salty. I didn't bag-brine this brisket like I did the first one. Will be stepping up my game on the next one. I'm determined to figure out how to make a great brisket every time. You and luv were 5 star company. Would host again. Dinny |
Oh no, I'm not a huge fan of salty food, I thought everything was perfect. But now that I think about it, I should've killed a few more of those deviled eggs, they were outstanding. Missed opportunity there.

Yeah, I am always looking for a way to do better.
What kind of beer was that black lager, Bug? I will try to find some of that in the near future. Dinny |

Ott's put me out of business.
It takes a ton of ingredients (I NEVER start with ketchup). It takes 10 tons of work. I think my stuff is better than Ott's, but not enough better to make it worth the effort. I love the original recipe. The Ozark or whatever it is seems to just have celery seed/flavor. It is made in Joplin (I think), it's a budget brand and I rarely use anything else. Dinny |

So anyway about the motor in the s10...
Me and wonder kid are getting ready to 5.7 ls1 the 72. So we should be knowing about whatever issues might arise. Don't think it's gonna be too tough though. Waiting on special ordered harness and computer. Trans is at the shop getting built already. Posted via Mobile Device |
When I get em done we should go to looey and rip ass around and see if we can get coffey to pull us over.
If someone's getting tazed I'm voting for you to take one for the team though. Posted via Mobile Device |
