Went to grocery. Spare ribs didn't look all that great. The baby backs were higher per lb. than the prime grade brisket. I found a beauty.

Had a great time Dinny! Not only were you a fantastic host, you work that DVR remote like no other. I mean seriously, you were one with that thing. Sorry couldn't hang out after the game but I had to get that drive out of the way. Managed to stay shiny side up and got in a little after midnight.

Yeah but when's the Smokin' The Ozarks Bud Fest? That'll require the use of your Big Green Egg before it's over.

A thousand pardons on the brisket and deviled eggs. They needed more salt. Y'all should have said something instead of being polite. I'm a little salt-shy because my last two capers ( corned beef and a ham) wound up too salty.

I didn't bag-brine this brisket like I did the first one. Will be stepping up my game on the next one. I'm determined to figure out how to make a great brisket every time.

You and luv were 5 star company. Would host again.

Oh no, I'm not a huge fan of salty food, I thought everything was perfect. But now that I think about it, I should've killed a few more of those deviled eggs, they were outstanding. Missed opportunity there.

Ott's put me out of business.

It takes a ton of ingredients (I NEVER start with ketchup). It takes 10 tons of work. I think my stuff is better than Ott's, but not enough better to make it worth the effort.

I love the original recipe. The Ozark or whatever it is seems to just have celery seed/flavor. It is made in Joplin (I think), it's a budget brand and I rarely use anything else.

So anyway about the motor in the s10...

Me and wonder kid are getting ready to 5.7 ls1 the 72. So we should be knowing about whatever issues might arise. Don't think it's gonna be too tough though. Waiting on special ordered harness and computer. Trans is at the shop getting built already.
