In talking with Kyle, it sounds like our server hack this morning came in through the Arcade. Does anyone actually use that, the Casino, or the Gameroom anymore?

I didn't know there was one. I guess that explains the casino cash...

I go play a few games once in a great while, but they're not really good enough to keep me there for long.

Can the casino cash be traded or given away?

I'd certainly think if this is true the arcade has to go. The casino I think does have some merit.

I've developed quite the blackjack and Asteroids habit over there. I like playing blackjack here since it keeps me out of the casinos losing real money, but if they have become liabilities, cut them loose.

Besides, the fact that Pants scored a trillion on Winter Bells is complete horsehit, and that's not to mention how Sofa King cheated on all his games.

You can arrange to give it to people I've heard.

I refuse to do that though, if I decide to go bet in the game room, I can bet big... (sam rothstein says) a whale, with enough credit to turn out your lights.

It was pretty cool when it was added as a feature.

But I'm going to assume most people don't give it any attention at all anymore.

Honestly I wouldn't care if the arcade was gone. I like playing in the casino, but it wouldn't break my heart to see it go either.

I'd forgotten they were even there, which is probably more an indictment of my addled brain than of their usefulness as anything other than a wide-open hacker gate, but still...I don't use 'em anymore.

I would like a heads up if we deep six the casino. I want to place all of my casino cash on a single bet and let it ride before it goes bye bye.

Arcade's disabled for now. It might be back if someone gets motivated to upgrade it.

No more Asteroids. :(

Dammed hackers. Ruining shit since the beginning of the internet.

There's a new version available that supposedly fixes it. It's just a matter of someone taking the time to deal with the upgrade. No sense in leaving it open for it to get hacked again tomorrow for now, though.

(And this isn't technically my job anymore :))

We are well aware it's not your job but we really appreciate getting us back up and running.

I realize it is fake money. I didn't say I would feel distraught, or go blow my brains out for losing my "fortune". I would feel stupid for jumping the gun on a decision not yet made. I could go blow it all right now but, that isn't the point. The point is to blow it in big adios because it is going away. You know like how many would do the same in real life if they found out the world was going to end tomorrow? This obviously is not that dramatic but, same principal in play.

Yeah, nothing major. There's a security flaw in the arcade mod (not professionally developed) that allowed someone to change the page that showed up when viewing the Lounge to something completely different. Only took an hour or so to get it all fixed up, though.
