Interesting. 12 eps coming in January, 2015.

They list "V" for Natalie Chaidez, but more interesting (imo) was her involvement with TTSCC. This could turn into something really cool.

I really enjoy the movie.

It's Syfy folks. Never get your hopes up for a Syfy Channel movie.

That does look better than I expected. And I adore the TG film and the really like the french film that inspired it. So I'll check it out. But I'm... cautiously optimistic.

It's not a movie. It's a series.

Well, the good news is that it can only improve on the movie.

Movie was great, will give the show a try as it looks promising!

I'm not real impressed with Pyro as the lead...

Looks way to clean. Very, very low expectations with this one.

Not sure why, but the 2nd half of the trailer looked better than the first half.

Unfortunately most of the first half is probably from the first half of the pilot.

Its been a while since I saw the film, but didn't the film already accomplish what the people in the series are trying to do?

Spoilers ahead....I guess. This is an old ass movie.



From what I remember, Bruce Willis finds out who starts spreading the virus. He trails him to the airport where he is to begin his global flightplan to unleash the virus all over the world, and attempts to catch/kill him.

This attempt fails, as old Bruce Willis is gunned down in front of his younger self. As he dies, we see David Morse get on board the plane with his deadly cargo, and he sits down.

The camera pans over, and he's sitting next to one of the scientist women who sent Bruce Willis back in time.

I always assumed that was the "happy ending." Old Bruce Willis dies, but the scientist lady figures out who he was after, finds out where the virus spread begins, figures out who does it, and she eventually either stops him or they figure out a cure to come back with.

Child Bruce Willis then enjoys a normal life because the supervirus plot is undone.

Like I said, been a long time since I saw that movie, but that's what I took from the end. Ultimately Bruce Willis' mission was a success, even though he died in the end.

I bet you could find alot of those actors in porn.

Or ... maybe since the scientist lady that sends him back is sitting next to David Morse, she dies early on from the virus and is never able to send Bruce Willis back and everyone just dies. Either way, Bruce Willis doesn't have to endure the time travel shit.

Finally watched, gotta say it's better than I expected. Think I'll give it a shot friday.

Watched it last night. It was just kind of OK.

Liked the pilot. Okay in general tv sense, good by syfy standards. Watching 2nd episode on demand now, pretty good so far.

Thought it was decent enough although severely lacking more Gilliam

12 Monkeys is one of the most underrated films of my life, and easily the best pure acting Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis have ever done. It's a masterpiece.

I wrote a 20 page paper on 12 Monkeys, La Jetee, and Foucault for a French Lit graduate course I took as an undergrad.

I cannot believe that piece of shit Braveheart won best picture over it. I mean I can, because it's the Oscars, but JFC.

Pretty decent so far. Particularly so for syfy standards of the past few years. Blonde chick is also super attractive which helps.

Need to watch the movie again. Probably haven't seen it since the 90's and really dug it then.

Pretty good episode this week. Show's still going pretty strong, nothing off the rails yet like happened with Helix last year.

I made the mistake of watching the season 2 opener. That show is just trash now.

I haven't watched any of Helix this season, so I can't speak to it. 12 Monkeys was good again last week. Nice little twist.

Whatever it was I expected to happen on this show, that was not it.
