Haven't been particularly impressed by New Mexico or Standford. Still feel like we'd be better off playing Stanford assuming we can win today.

This game is Turrible.

At this point, just gotta hope KU can win a couple of game and not be embarrassed.

Hard to believe you can have a 40-point scorer on your team and not advance a couple rounds in the tournament.

I always dread potential embarrassment as well. This is the worst team defensively KU has fielded in the tournament in a few years, but oddly enough I feel the most confident about them not getting upset in the first two rounds. And it's because of Wiggins. We just simply haven't ever had a scorer like him on our side.

This will become a completely different story if we get to the Sweet 16 and beyond, but at least for now I feel good.

No idea what to expect.... Embiid's injury certainly lowered my expectations, and drawing a team that shoots a lot of 3s kind of sucks. Wiggins obviously really, really hates losing, so hopefully at the very least he can carry them to a couple of victories.

EKU shoots the 3 well, last time i looked we were last in the B12 in defending the 3.
KU has the size inside
EKU has better guard play
KU turns the ball over more than Kentucky
Both teams are strong on offense and weak on defense

Well, strong on offfense meaning 6th in adjusted offense for KU vs 47th, and weak on defense meaning 43rd vs 235. KU's defense is bad compared to other Self teams. EKY's defense is bad.

Our guards are Tharpe,Mason,Frankamp

EKU doesn't play much defense at all, so I don't anticipate KU having a huge problem scoring against this team. Rebounding advantage should be sizable as well.

They launch threes in nearly half of their possessions, though. We're just going to have to hope they miss some.
