Need a tv that doesn't have input lag for video games.

BF has become a joke. Prices are oftne higher than you can get other times of the year. Haven't seen anthing worth the hassle in a few years.

Cyber Monday is where it's at.

Its really spread out now. The sales and specials usually start the weekend after Halloween.

Combined with all the online deals, most stores opening at 5, 6 or 8PM on Thanksgiving day, there is no such thing as a 1 day HUGE Black Friday anymore. Although, alot of these companies will probably report their sales as 1 day.

Seconded, or thirded, or whatever. I build an awesome PC last year with mainly Cyber Monday stuff.

The only great thing about BF is that it is an excellent opportunity to get out of the house.

It was more fun whenever stores opened at 5am on Friday. At this rate, I'd have to run the Turkey Trot and then go straight over to the stores to stand in line since they open at 6pm on Thanksgiving.

You can thank Kmart for starting that trend when they decided to be open all day on Thanksgiving Day.

That's what my wife was saying, and she was a pretty dedicated Black Friday shopper. Personally, We have too much going on for her to go out at 5PM on Thanksgiving day.

But these retailers wouldn't do it if the business demand wasn't there.

I may actually get up and go to this one on Friday. Not going to worry about standing in line, as I'm sure most people won't be there for the kettle bells. $0.89/lb is a great deal. Cheapest I've been able to find otherwise is $1.49/lb.

Just figuring this up. I'd be paying $48.95 for a 20 lb and a 35 lb combined. Normally, I'd be paying $52.15 for just the 35 lb. It's like getting the 20 lb one for free!

If you were wanting to buy a big ass TV on black Friday, which one of these deals would you go for?

Would a person rather buy the Dell venue 8 tablet for $200 or the Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet 8" for $250?

Keep in mind, I'm also trying to find a reasonable laptop for a reasonable price of $350 or so. Hook me up on helping me with both decisions.

my wife watched one of those "Extreme Coupon" shows last night that was a Black Friday edition.....my god people are morons.

Some people wanted to buy $7000 worth of stuff and were hoping to get it for 50%. So besides spending ridiculous amounts of time in lines and multiple stores, who the **** spends $3500 on Christmas.

My girlfriend went to menards at 5:45 this morning. They open at 6.

She turned right around and went back home, the line of cars was over a mile from the store.

Me on the other hand, I showed up for work at 5:30 and its 7:30 and have not had a single real customer walk into the store.

All we did was put a bunch of beater 1000 dollar cars out and offer 0% financing on used and free food.

It got busy during the day, but not until after our normal start time.

I WAS able to buy the only thing I really wanted though, and between amazon credit and the sale I got the 80 dollar item for 13 bucks.

We bought a TV from Best Buy. I don't think it was on sale.

But, a 55" Smart HDTV for $729.99. Ready to have it for tonight's KU game.

So how does Amazon's Cyber Monday thing work? Do they run short term sales that start at different times or what?

Cyber Monday runs pretty much from Wednesday to Wednesday. Its just a marketing term. Some retailers run flash sales, most run massive across the board sales.

I have a laptop and no I don't want to run it on that. I already have the original Rocksmith and cable on Xbox 360. So naturally I would like to get the Xbox 360 version of Rocksmith 2014. My 360 is already hooked up through my living room TV and surround sound. Playing it on the laptop would be a PITA.

Some good deals, the one that intrigues me the most is the Samsung 55" 4K TV for $899 through Best Buy. Almost tempting to ditch Thanksgiving Dinner.

Question: is there some sort of online subscription required for PS4? Something like Xbox Live or is it free?

Not really like Xbox live. There is a playstation network account which is free that will enable you to do basic stuff like Netflix and the like. I believe online play is free with games with that as well. There is Playstation Plus, which is like $50 per year that has perks like free games and other discounts.
