NFL Betting

So I was listening to Parkins on the way home today, they were talking about brovada having the Chiefs set at certain things (over, under, etc).

There were a few things that I'm thinking about locking in now as I think they're locks. Just gonna put this out there for you guys.

Charles over under on REC Yards is 300

Houstons Sack Number is at 7.

I think those are pretty low, so taking the over.

Thoughts?

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-28-2013 06:14 PM

Charles will have 300 yards recieving and Houston will have 7 sacks by game 9

O.city 08-28-2013 06:15 PM

Thats kind of what I'm thinking.

OnTheWarpath15 08-28-2013 06:17 PM

300?

He had 236 receiving yards last year with jack and shit at QB.

With Admiral Checkdown at the helm, I'd be shocked if he's not pushing 500 by season's end.

CoMoChief 08-28-2013 06:17 PM

they read Arrowhead Pride a lot to get their talking points.

AP also had over under Alex Smith 3000 yards 19TDs and 13INTs which I hope to ****ing god it's over if the Chiefs want to win more than 6 games.

AustinChief 08-28-2013 06:21 PM

They also have Fasano at only 3 TDs for the season.. seems awfully low there as well.

hell he had over 420 in 2010.

Here are the lines

Alex Smith

Passing yards: 3,350

Passing TDs: 19.5

INTs: 13.5

Jamaal Charles

Rushing yards: 1,150.5

Rushing TDs: 6

Receiving yards: 300.5

Dwayne Bowe

Receiving yards: 1000.5

Receiving TDs: 6

Anthony Fasano

Receiving TDs: 3

Tamba Hali

Sacks: 9.5

Justin Houston

Sacks: 7

Hog's Gone Fishin 08-28-2013 06:25 PM

Houston 11 sacks
Charles 650 recieving, 1200 rushing

Remember, Charles has the moves to make several 50,60,70 + yard RACs

Houston and Hali now have an Awesome NT in Dontarie Poe that just may be a probowler this year.

Taking the under on Bowe because I feel like Alex Smith is going to lean heavily on the TEs, Slot, and RBs. Crabtree scored 6 of his 9 TDs and 60% of his yards in the second half of last season when Kaepernick was QB. The rest of his time in SF he was under those numbers.

STOP CALLING HIM THAT!

cookster50 08-28-2013 06:38 PM

I would be all over the under for Bowe.

I was thinking hali under, but if people are watching houston more he could run free
very interesting how long do I have to put down bets
got a bud going to vegas love to bet the houston over

Munson 08-28-2013 07:44 PM

The only way Jamaal has less than 300 yards receiving is if he gets injured.

Take the over.

JoeyChuckles 08-28-2013 08:05 PM

So pretty much everyone in here thinks they are smarter than Vegas?

Have you ever watched an Andy Reid offense? The last time the starting RB didn't have more than 300 yards in offense was 2000. 13 years ago!

Do you understand how lines work?...

O.city 08-28-2013 08:22 PM

Went ahead and laid down 500 on both. Put 100 on the bengals too

No, I've never bet before. Honestly. Except at a horse track once.

Their job is get to the public betting equally on each side. Or if they really know something, straight up make a line so tempting that the majority can't help but bet wrong.

Thanks. I honestly thought that they just wanted to beat the player every time. But that makes more sense now that I think about it.

BlackHelicopters 08-30-2013 04:13 AM

Vegas is able to keep the lights on 24/7 because gamblers are smart. Gamblers are so smart, the whole town will be completely air conditioned. Fools.
