Predict a non-1st round draft pick for KC.
Harder to do than it normally would, because we haven't seen these guys in action yet.
Who do you think the Chiefs will draft? One rule: no 1st rounders. My first guess is not exactly an original one: QB Tyler Wilson, Arkansas. |
QB: Dysert
|
It goes without saying my feeling on Wilson...
...but weren't there reports coming out of the combine that we weren't very impressed with him? That is where I began to accept reality and move on. :( |

Based on Andy Reid's affinity for RBs in the McCoy/Dion Lewis mold, I bet he really likes RB Stepfon Jefferson out of Nevada.
Bigger RB. Pretty shifty, good hands out of the backfield. |
Barry Werd
|
I bet he's also interested in CB Will Davis out of Utah State.
Really aggressive corner with great ballskills. Reminds me of Asante Samuel a bit. |
Kiko Alonso.
|
I'm willing to bet Reid loves Malliciah Goodman out of Clemson. He does love players who can play more than one position, and Goodman could legitimately play snaps at DE or OLB, one imagines.
|
Someone already said Kiko Alsonso, who is my first choice, but I'll go with a guy nobody will probably put.
Zaviar Gooden. |
Leon Sandcastle.
HA HA HA, get it? Leon Sandcastle. |

Stepfon, Kiko, Malliciah. Every year the draft is like a new list of Dabrickashaws

Jon Bostic with that second 3rd round pick

Enjoy. |
TE Chris Gragg

WR Kenny Stills

I'm scared to do this again.
Guys I have called us drafting in previous drafts haven't really gotten us anywhere and most of them turned out to be shitty. Jalil Brown Jon Baldwin Ricky Stanzi Tony Moeaki Jerrell Powe Shit, Moeaki might be the only one of those still on the team next year...and that's if he stays healthy. Doing so in 2013 would go a long way towards putting the injury prone label to bed for this player. |
Kiko Alonzo
Brian Schwenke Duke Williams Chris Gragg Denard Robinson Vince Williams Kyler Reed |
My guy for this year is Barrett Jones...if he doesn't make it to 3a...the. We use a later pick on the center from USC.
|
Arther brown ksu
|
I just hope we get someone to replace Belcher at ILB. The guy's like a damn ghost out there on the field.
|
Jon Bostic, ILB, UF.
|
Tyler Bray
|
Assuming the Chiefs trade down... Xavier Nixon.
|
Manti Te'o
|
Tyler Wilson to complete the shit trifecta.

C - Barrett Jones (3comp) or Schwenke (4)
ILB - Klein (4) or Bostic (3a) SS - Cyprien (3a) OT - Williams (6) or Gaines (7) |

Joe Kruger, DT/DE; Utah
Reid likes Utah guys, Kruger has NFL lineage, he's got a ton of upside as a 34 DE which we need, is well coached coming out of college and he's a high energy, lunch pail type of player. Second third round or fourth round pick. Quote:

Why does Reid like Utah guys?

As well, I believe that Reid either coached him or played with him while at BYU, so he's got a good rapport with him. |
Reid went to BYU?

Sigh. One final question: Does Reid wear the magic underwear?

I predict we'll take Alex Smith with our second....and he'll suck more than a tranny hooker during fleet week(pre sequester).
|
C Schwenke, Cal
ILB Alonso, OR TE Kasa, CU OLB Maponga, TCU I look forward to the draft all year and I never come close to getting the Chief's picks right. Hope the rumors about a trade up by Miami are true. |
R6: John Boyett, Oregon
|
Matt Blundin.

Powe was substantially better than Poe in the preseason, but Peeholi was going to force feed this team his project come hell or high water. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a lot of the 46 this next season under Sutton with Powe at the true nose and Poe off the left side at the DE spot. (In fact, with Sutton familiar with the 46, I think he's going to be very happy with the personnel on this roster in terms of implementing it, e.g. Berry, Poe, Powe, Houston, Allen, Johnson, etc. are damn near perfect to run the 46.) Stanzi was a very good pick for a flyer on the QB position. You've got to take those type of guys about every other draft so as to find that veritable "diamond in the rough." Sometimes they work out and you get yourself a Brady or Hasselbeck, sometimes they don't. Moeaki was a stupid as hell pick from the standpoint that we traded up just eight spots to pick him when Dennis Pitta, Aaron Hernandez and Tony Moeaki were all on the board. Pitta was the starting TE for the Super Bowl champs and looked the part and Hernandez is a stud. Moeaki has turned out to be who he was - a very talented receiver and blocker who has knees made out of balsa wood and thread. Baldwin was a pure need pick as, at the time, we didn't have anyone on the roster behind Bowe. However, somebody should have done their homework in the scouting department and look harder at his college tape and noticed that for all his amazing physical gifts, the guy can't separate off the line from CBs. He probably should be utilized as the TE rather than split out wide. |

Manti Teo or whatever his name is

Ezekiel Ansah would be a slam freaking dunk in that case, being from BYU and all.

Look at the QBs that Reid has drafted or signed through the years. McNabb, Feely, Garcia, Kolb, Vick. What do any of these guys have in common with Jones? |
