Dion or Ziggy?

If you had to choose one of the two players, regardless of "where" we take them, what's your choice?

Nightfyre 03-26-2013 05:41 PM

Wheres the Geno option, dammit!

Mr_Tomahawk 03-26-2013 05:42 PM

Dion.

Sfeihc 03-26-2013 06:22 PM

Depends, 3-4 or 4-3? 3-4 Dion, 4-3 Ansah.

Saccopoo 03-26-2013 07:31 PM

Barkevious Mingo.

He's more fluid than either and has better production.

Go watch the LSU games. He's the guy that stands out on that defense.

His combine was terrific as well. He has better feet and lateral agility than either Ansah or Jordan.

Depends on the timeline you are looking at: the next year? Dion. After that? Ansah.

Bewbies 03-26-2013 09:37 PM

I'd take either over an OT.

Both players are about the same guy.

It's basically Joeckel vs. Fisher. It's a very, very tough call and I don't blame you in the slightest if you choose either guy.

Yep. Not crazy about MWC players (especially linemen offense/defense)

ChiefMojo 04-03-2013 10:29 AM

Both will play 3-4 OLB IMO. Prefer Dion.

Jordan and Ansah seem to be pretty neck and neck according to this, the question is who ultimately has the most upside....

Nightfyre 04-03-2013 11:19 AM

What if I prefer Mingo?

Wow 6 foot 7 81.44 wingspan and can acclerate to 16 miles per hour in 3 steps- after doing the fastest spin move ever measured?? Oh and he gets to the Qb in less than 4 seconds and hits like a truck.

Damn that was pretty nasty. I'd like to see how Jordan fares with big, mauling tackles. He's long and lean, makes me wonder if he would get washed out of the play if his speed can't get him by a brick wall tackle.

You can't block what you cant catch. He as fast as any wide reciever in the first ten yards- that clip is amazing.

I am not sure where we would use him but- wow- I would love to see him on our team.

If you take a look at some of the measurables--and those seemed to be against some of their all time records- Ansah was neck and neck with Jordan. Ansah is new to football and is stronger than Jordan. I think Jordan would be better in his rookie season, but after that, I think Ziggy will wind up being the really special player.

Take a look at Ansah's initial burst from heavy bag to heavy bag in the video--he is a full .11 seconds faster than Jordan (1:13 mark in the video). In that short of a space, that is HUGE. Ansah is already in the backfield in that amount of time. Ansah isn't going to use a spin move-he won't need it. Add to the fact that Ansah is just flat out strong and about 20lbs heavier than Jordan. In the senior bowl, Ansah was just throwing linemen around. Between a bull rush and swim move, Ansah will be blowing up offensive backfields.
