Dolts. Fox has been it's own parody for quite some time. And this only confirms it... again. Another "some people say" ("experts say") faux outrage. One LA State professor does a 'study' and Fox shitz on an icon with their psuedo-moral dribble. Pathetic.
Mr. Rogers had another frequent expression to kids: "I like you just the way you are." What a great thing for a kid to hear from an adult. Even if it is a tv show. Maybe FOX can do a follow-up and tell us all the damage that caused. Rodgers was a great advocate for kids everywhere. And now that he's deceased, FOX wants to denigrate and trivialize a life devoted to the betterment of children? Shameless morons. In the immortal words of Hamas Jenkins: "MF you, Fox and (alleged) Friends!" |
This isn't about politics.
Mr Rogers is a ****ing cock. He turned our children into little ****s and tattle tale queerbait pussies who will never amount to a squirt of piss We need a new figure to emerge |
keep this shit out of dc god dammit - EVERYONE needs to know this - this is wrong and has been tolerated for far too gd'ed long, jerks!
|
Alex Smith probably watched Mr. Rogers when he was a kid, and now feels like he deserves his own NFL team just for being who he is.

My younger sister was addicted to the show. She's a CFO. No damage there.

Anyone who really thinks Mr. Rogers damaged children seriously needs to shoot themselves in the ****ing face.
Personally, I hated the show as a kid. I was more of a Sesame Street guy, which I assume somehow turned me into an anti-american terrorist according to Fox News. Just more dipshit pansies trying to blame their failure at rearing children on television. It's YOUR FAULT IF YOUR CHILD IS PUSSY. Stop blaming TV. |
Captain Kangaroo left his mark with ping pong balls. This isn't the porn thread, shit

Mr. Rogers did not turn your kid into an entitled little shit. Mommy and Daddy did that... |
Mr. Rogers was on the air nationally by 1968. If he's messed anyone up it's people the age of the Fox crew.
I'm going to go ahead and posit that the helicopter parents have a lot more to do with whatever is wrong with kids today... |
You don't have to compete. Just show up and everybody wins! Gold star

OK Mr. Rogers is not reassuring! He will have been the ultimate cause of the end of times. There's nothing reassuring there, he lived a life of lies and wanted company, all along.
I would tell Mr. Rogers to go get anal raped by a melted galosh boot, .... but then again; i'm sure that scoundrel would like that. - basically a seventies Pee wee Herman, only Pee wee was realistic with folks, to a degree. That's what you have in him. |
My youngest watches a show called "daniel tiger" which is based off of the Puppets from Mr Rogers Neighborhood.
It must have some effect because I'll hear him singing the steps for bed time, wake up etc.... |
Mr. Rogers named his King puppet - 'King Friday the 13th' -- I'm sorry - that's royally messed up to me.

It was NOT a study, it was an ill-conceived comment from a Finance professor at LA State. (That's why I put the word study in quotes in my original post.) He has since retracted his statement: "The reference to Mr. Rogers was just a metaphor. I have no professional qualifications to evaluate the real problems or propose solutions. Mr. Rogers was a great American. I watched him with my children and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again if I had young children." -- Don Chance, Louisiana State University. "Fox & Friends" is not news. It's mental masturbation for the intellectually challenged. So much for the Fox commentator's comment, "These experts say..." What a ****ing joke. DO you think that the dolts at "Fox & Friends" will update their story with the "expert's" retraction? Will they discuss how their half-witted & banal banter misrepresent the truth under the guise of "news"? Enjoy your show... |
Mr. Rogers was the best person I "knew" growing up. Also the only person, including family members, I have ever cried about when I heard he died.
