work sucks.

I'm thankful I work at a computer with little oversight. I plan on finding the game online and watching it. Same with March Madness. They know it's either that or I'm calling in sick, which I never do.

I take too much time off for the tournament anyway, so I'm stuck at work, but have the slingbox. Trying to get everything done so I can sit on my ass from 2-4.

Trying to get my stuff done to get off early and watch it. I've worked late Mon/Tue/Wed this week so that I can get out of here.

Hour lunch today.

Damn, you are the bitchiest (is that a word?) KU fan I've ever seen. ISU is very, very good at shooting 3s. They do that to everybody they play. KU's strength is interior defense, obviously. But as KCC has pointed out, KU does pretty darn well at 3 point defense, too. But sometimes you just can't stop a team from hitting those. I'll put my faith in Bill Self's coaching ability, TYVM.

BTW, I seriously doubt they hit 17 of them again. That was a record night for them at Hilton.

Glad that's over. Such a waste of what could be a perfectly good game to have to play teams like this. At least they got the job done in the 2nd half. Next up is hoping ISU misses their threes.

Every elite team plays shitty conference opponents every year.

In the first KU/ISU game, it took 14 three pointers & 14 TO's for ISU to be even competitive in the game that they lost.

In the second KU/ISU game, it took 17 three pointers & 15 KU TO's for ISU to even be competitive in the game that they lost.


If KU doesn't turn the ball over tomorrow, KU walks away with a win. ISU won't hit 14+ three pointers tomorrow.

I said this in the Baylor game, just say they SHOULDN'T hit 14+ 3's again. I mean they might jack up 50 of them.

Sure, it's completely possible for them to hit 14 three's - but they'll need to just to stay in the game.

One thing is for sure, they won't play much defense so we need to pound it inside and foul as many out as possible.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Self go to 4 guard (Releford at the 4) with Young underneath tomorrow. If ISU isn't hitting 3's, they are done. Which, not a surprise, will result in an early exit from the tourney.

Also, just saw over at Phog that McLemore is 3rd all time in Big 12 scoring by a freshman. Behind only Durant & Beasley.
